Excellent location with beautiful views. We stayed here as a group of 8. Staff are friendly and the rooms offer plenty of space. Only negative is that some rooms did not have showers, but only baths - ask in advance. Really good value for money.

Lovely staff and service. Wonderful to gaze at retired beautiful horses and see sneaky monkeys. Serious effort by creative chef to accommodate vegetarian diet. The Wi-Fi was a bit temperamental but it mostly worked. Old world charm.

We went to the Midlands for a breath of fresh air and stayed at the Halliwell Inn and it delivered just what we needed. The quietness and tranquility this place offers at a good price is unbelievable. The food was excellent and the professionalism of their staff was top notch. If you're looking for a getaway place to reconnect with yourself and nature while enjoying good food, then the Halliwell Country In is the place to be.

Thank you for a most enjoyable stay in beautiful surroundings. Was kind of you to find another room for us, after we said that we hadn't bathed for more than 50 years! Compliments to the chef. Wonderfully warm welcome, generous garden suite, nice garden views, cosy country pub and good food. The staff were wonderfully attentive and engaging with sound knowledge of the area. We look forward to a winter visit when the fires can also be enjoyed

Loved the time at Halliwell. Super quiet, perfect to relax without crowds, noise, and holiday chaos. The food was great, service was excellent. Many places nearby for great coffee and activities. I hope that Halliwell keeps it's old-world charm and country feel. Wonderful place.

excellent location. they have a 5km moderate hiking trail that goes through a forest. rooms are very spacious and clean. food was so delicious (Vegan Option). I would definitely come back. i enjoyed everything about the place.

Our stay was nothing short of fantastic! The property is beautiful, the staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were comfy, and equipped with everything we needed. The included breakfast options were great and the food delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the scenic 5km hike that starts on the property. Clinton and Heidi were outstanding- we felt very comfortable and at home and we will definitely be returning for another stay in the near future :) 2 thumbs up.

What a great experience at Old Haliwell - from swimming in the beautiful pool, to the delicious meals and the warm a**osphere. The slight detour of the main road is worth it for the picturesque setting. I'd highly recommend a stay-over here. Great value!
