I called in advance to make sure the pool would be available for my stay with my daughter. The only reason I booked the hotel was for my daughter to go swimming. I made that very clear that I needed to know if the pool would be open to swim. When we arrived my daughter was super excited to swim. During the check in process nothing was mentioned about the pool. I asked after check in what the hrs of operation were. The front desk clerk then told me the pool was closed due to a frozen pipe. I get it things happen, yet I just called less than 24 hrs prior to confirm the pool would be open. I expressed my disappointment and the employee told me she total understood and in the morning I could speak to a manager to get compensated. The next morning I came down to ask to speak to the manager and the employees said the manager was not in & did not know when the manager would be in. I explained my situation & what I was told about about compensation. The employee was very rude and had no interest in helping me at all. I won't be there again. They lost my business. Also the breakfast in the morning was beyond terrible. Everyone was empty at 8am and did not get refilled. Not enough employees. Not happy.
