Really enjoying our New Year stay at The Lawrence with our friends. NYE food was exceptional and the entertainment by Nathan Moore from 80’s boy band Brother Beyond was just fantastic. The staff have gone above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and are so welcoming to our dogs. This is our second stay at The Lawrence and it certainly will not be the last.

Lovely hotel in a very pleasant location, in easy access of local amenities and major road links. Accommodation, Service and Food were all Superb and the Staff were very attentive and professional. Can't recommend this hotel enough and would certainly stay again.

The evening was faultless the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the food and the drinks .. we stayed over at the Lawrence and the hotel room was perfectly fine and adequate to our needs the bed was comfortable and gave us a perfect nights sleep the grab and go breakfast was enough for us and was a good choice on offer. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend

Always a lovely experience at the lawrence. Whether it’s for a drink, food, comedy night or taster evening. Service is always fantastic and made to feel special. We have been as a family, as a couple and with friends and we’ve always had a great time. Michael and the team go above and beyond to make sure everything is done exceptionally.

Lovely hotel , beautiful lounge and restaurant intimate and personal service .lovely touch with sweets and flapjacks in room .All staff really lovely. Slept well enjoyed our stay. Food at dinner excellent. Easy to travel around Lancashire as a base .

Greeted very nicely in reception, stairs very steep up to room. Bed too small, tap loose in sink. Nice toiletries. Bedroom windows needed cleaning . Roof terrace full of moss & chair covers wet throw. The young girls serving need a lot more training, the evening meal was just warm, door in venue room had been left open from disabled person using ramp & cold draft blowing in, mention to young waitresses & they said they would look into it but did nothing so my husband got u & closed doors himself. After waiting half hour I asked if our puddings were ready , then given a life & fork to eat them with . At breakfast my husband was still eating his cereal when his cooked breakfast was put in front of him . Lovely hotel but more training for staff a definite

Fantastic, if slightly quirky, hotel on the hill rising out of historic Padiham. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and there is a proper pub less than 50 yards away. Near shops, supermarkets (Tesco and Lidl) and a range of restaurants. Recommended

Visited the Lawrence for steak night tonight. We've never been before so didn't know what to expect. We were met on entering by a very friendly staff member called Sophie. We were offered drinks and taken to our table for our pre-ordered food. We were waited on by two very friendly waitresses (Lexi and Lily ?). Food and drinks were served promptly and the food was very good. When we were finished the manager made a point of coming over and asking how the night had gone. All in all a really good night in a nicely decorated restaurant that had really great staff and a really nice a**osphere. We highly recommend and will be visiting again soon.

We initially planned just an evening celebration, but after speaking with Michael, our plans evolved into a twilight service. The venue was exceptional, the rooms were lovely, and the staff, especially Vicky, AJ, Alison, and Michael, exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our day special. There were more staff members who were equally fantastic, although their names escape me at the moment. Thank you all for making our day unforgettable.
