Urige Unterkunft: Man könnte meinen in einem englischen Seebad zu sein. Kleine Gästehäuschen. Manche drapiert um einen großen Gartentisch mit Sonnenschirm. Nett ausgestattet. Aber als Kaffeetrinker eine große Bitte an die wohl Tee trinkende Vermieterin- bitte, bitte das Kaffeepulver wechseln oder ganz weglassen. Das war Stress für guten Kaffee gewohnte Geschmacksknospen. Immerhin gibt es weniger hundert Meter weiter ein Einkaufszentrum. wo es erträglichen Kaffee gibt.

Quiet, comfortable, clean and tidy rooms, well stocked with everything you need for a stay. Plenty of things to do in town as well. There’s a kids play area, spa and bbq facilities too. Staff are friendly and they’ll give you all the info you need for the area.

Great location and lovely set up! Every couple had their own space but could also socialise together as well. Perfect for a group event. Carole and team are lovely and really down to earth people, with awesome knowledges of the area. Also close walk to shopping centre and local establishments, so handy! 👌

We had a great stay as a young family. Rooms were clean and bedding lovely. Just across the road from the shops including supermarket, takeaway and two restaurants (book early!). The kids loved the playground and pool. Thanks so much Carole!

We found Carole and Simon very welcoming and always friendly and helpful. We commended them on how they have improved the Pauanui Pines facilities and amenities in the time they have run it. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again and again. The unit is very clean, well serviced and the owners have updated and improved the unit furniture and facilities enormously. Bed was very comfortable and the information booklet helpful.

Come on everyone The outdoor spa area is lovely clean and a treat on a cold clear afternoon/evening. The shops are open restaurants serving good food. Walking tracks are all in great repair. Beach is always beautiful. Carole will make your stay comfie at this motel always a fav of ours. Use the bbq game of tennis golf course right on your doorstep and a 2 minute walk to shops cafe retaurant supervalue.Easy parking well located warm and clean well equipped. The road from waihi is open and mostly clear of all slips now ...so safe and easy to come here for a little winter escape. Thanks again guys for a great stay again!

Return visit visiting family in Pauanui. This is the perfect accommodation option located just a short stroll from the Center shops & restaurants. Our third time here, and always so neat and clean, and the pool and spa set up is fantastic. The hosts Carol & Simon went above and beyond providing pool toys for the Grandsons when they came back, they had a great time. Thanks once more, and see you again when we return in a couple of weeks…

At $247 per night (and that is with a $27 per night Gold Card discount) this would have to be the most expensive "basic" motel we have ever stayed at! Friendly folk but not sure how they can justify charging this much money - not even peak season!

We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was very clean and modern. Had everything we needed, a kitchen, separate bedroom and a decent sized bathroom. The lodge is nice and central and close to shops and beach. The lady at reception (Carole) was so friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend and will definitely come back.

Very welcoming motel. Room comfortable with everything we needed. Happy to lend out umbrellas and spades for use at beaches etc. kitchenette well equipped. If the weather had been better we would have used more of their facilities. Very short walk to restaurants and supermarket WiFi signal could be better, but was enough for emails etc.

If you wish to explore Coromandel this could be a fine place to stay. Well functioning small apartments, small kitchen, a table for 2 outside on a small terracce, very nice people to care for you (Simon and Carole). A supermarket 200 meters away, 2 restaurants too. No noice, good beds. Ingredients for a continental breakfast. We were very satisfied.

We visited for a wedding so spent very little time at the accommodation. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and crockery etc. The accommodation was perfect for us to spend a night. We unfortunately didn't have time to check out the pool, spa and other amenities on site. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Spent a few days here in January 2022 and had a wonderful time. The units are spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool and comfy lounger and the proximity to the supermarket and restaurants just across the road. Carole and Simon were great hosts, very welcoming and accommodating of any requests. I will definitely be back.

Had a very comfortable and pleasant stay, accomodation was perfect with everything we needed. Clean and well appointed. Spacious Setting, swimming pool, spa, bikes etc , bbq area, all spot on. Managers Carol and Simon are friendly, very helpful and easily accessible. Pauanui is a fabulous holiday spot for boating, fishing, swimming either the estuary side or surf beach. Good shopping , restaurants cafes takeaways supermarket petrol, golf, private airstrip ! - everything only a short walk away. Have stayed at this motel a few times over the years and always enjoyed our stays.
