很棒的酒店。房間每天都打掃,位置很棒。接待人員非常樂於助人,總是微笑着,非常感謝前台的托馬斯(我想那是他的名字)。幾乎每天晚上我們都向他詢問去餐館/公共汽車站等的路線,他非常擅長向我們解釋。可愛的泳池區小,但安靜和放鬆 早餐工作人員很好,但早上簡單的微笑會很好 至少可以說有點“脾氣暴躁”。翁貝託很棒。他是高個子。當我們走進來時,總是對你微笑最大的。非常非常好的男人。會推薦這家酒店。如果我回到ALVOR ,我一定會回到這家酒店。!!!只是說噴氣式飛機2代表很棒。我花了一天早上,她走得更遠,幫助我。那天晚些時候打電話來檢查我,第二天也。希望我能記住她的名字。所以非常感謝她!!!

我很想給這個地方一個差評，以阻止人們去，這樣我就可以自己保留它，但這會對工作人員造成真正的傷害。我對這個地方完全挑不出毛病——這個地方里里外外都一塵不染，房間設施齊全，配有冰箱、保險箱、空調和可愛的熱水淋浴。早餐適合每個人，而且每天都有變化。工作人員是節目中真正的明星，沒有什麼是太麻煩的。我們提到我們正在尋找憂心珠，接下來我們知道早餐時的一位女服務員走到街對面，帶回了一些選擇供我們選擇並從對面的商店購買。特別值得一提的是 Ioanna，她非常友好，很愛笑，她真的讓我們度過了愉快的假期。優越的中心位置，但很安靜，有一個可愛的小游泳池和泳池區。等不及回來了！

Nestled in a serene location, this hotel proved to be the perfect haven for families seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from the demands of the work world. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we were enveloped in a tranquil ambiance that allowed us to recharge and reconnect with our loved ones. One of the most remarkable aspects of our stay was the prevailing sense of calm throughout the entire property. It was evident that the hotel had meticulously designed its spaces to create a soothing atmosphere. Whether we were strolling through the beautifully landscaped gardens, lounging by the pool, or enjoying a quiet meal in the restaurant, we felt an overwhelming sense of tranquility that instantly melted away the stresses of everyday life. The hotel's commitment to creating a peaceful environment extended to its accommodations as well. Our room was a true sanctuary, providing a blissful retreat where we could relax and unwind. The tastefully appointed interiors, plush bedding, and thoughtful amenities contributed to a restful atmosphere that allowed us to get a restorative night's sleep. We woke up each morning feeling refreshed and ready to embrace the day ahead. What truly set this hotel apart was its dedication to catering to families. We are just home from spending a week here with our two young children and we really enjoyed it. Its maybe worth noting that the hotel didn't seem too busy, especially for our first few days. Positives: -Brilliant pool with plenty of sunloungers. -Room was spacious and clean. Beds made and towels replenished daily. -Staff were all fantastic and very friendly. The entertainment team were brilliant with our eldest, as were the staff in the kids club. The restaurant staff were amazing too and loved chatting to our youngest. -Our eldest loved the mini disco which is on every evening. She is still singing all the songs! -Great choice of all inclusive drinks & we had no issues with queues. Negatives, although we would definitely return: -We enjoyed the food but probably important to note we'd try anything. Some days there wasn't a great choice for kids, i.e. chicken nuggets etc. Our daughters pretty much lived on spaghetti bolognese. There were 2 BBQ nights which were amazing! The garlic bread was 🙌 -We paid extra for a pool view however depending on the entertainment at night, it could be very noisy. If we went back, I'd enquire about quieter rooms. -We knew before booking, but just to highlight that the rooms aren't completely separate as there is a gap at the top of the wall. The extra bed for our eldest was in the living area. -Maybe bring some string or a travel washing line as there isn't anything provided on the balcony for drying clothes and towels. -Its maybe common in Portugal but we found everything was quite late, i.e. dinner starts at 6.30 and kids disco at 8.30. The hotel is about a ten minute walk into Alvor which is worth a visit. We also went on the bus provided to the beach. However we mostly stayed around the pool and made the most of the facilities 🙂

Arrived Friday midday, pleasant and helpful reception staff, easy check in and hotel looked recently renovated with well presented and modern lobby. We unpacked into a large two bed apartment, three flatscreens and sofa, large fridge freezer and all accessories required for comfortable self catering. We spent a nice afternoon at a quiet pool among other families and couples (pool is freezing cold). This is where the good news ended. Around 5pm two coach loads of students descended onto the hotel with shopping carts (actual shopping carts) loaded with speakers and party signs. Our stomachs sank as did our 7yr olds, intimidated by rowdy youths in the elevator. I enquired at the front desk as to the situation and was met with the news that the party had booked almost the entire hotel out of rooms. The Flor Da Rocha sells the rooms as part of a student party package at various times throughout the year, see screen grab. The sequence of events is as follows; two coaches arrive mid afternoon, the lobby and swimming pool both flood with loud students and then the speakers appear on the balcony’s facing the pool area blasting music. Short lull when they dissipate to the supermarket for alcohol then from 9pm (when the families are settling the children) the noise begins again with shouting / singing / Macarena etc etc. people hanging over balcony’s with guitars, clapping and jeering. No intervention from hotel staff whatsoever. It comes as no surprise the in room telephone also doesn’t work when trying to contact reception. The fact Jet2 are marketing this hotel as a family friendly holiday is ridiculous. No sleep for a family of four for the first two nights of a seven night holiday. We selected Praia Da Rocha as a family friendly alternative to the usual stag and hen locations, what possesses the place to host a two day student bender is beyond me. Unfortunately, this is the second time Jet2 have let us down and we should’ve known better than to travel with them again. The rest of the week was fine although the students continue to come and go, fortunately for us the rest seemed to be athletes / youth groups rather than organised party goers. Given time and money has been spent to update the hotel it’s a real shame they choose to recoup this at the detriment to family and couple guests in an otherwise quiet resort.

I'll start with the positive. The hotel grounds are beautiful. It has a lot of potential. The drinks have a good selection and the pool staff are always around providing drinks.. We booked the hotel for a babymoon a last min trip for 6 nights. We arrived on Monday was allowed to use the facilities from the moment we arrived including food and drinks. We got to our room after three and whilst it appeared lovely on initial view it wasn't. We had blood on the floor from where someone had cut their foot on a door stopper blood on the under bedsheets. Ants in our room and the sink hadn't been cleaned. We called down and it took someone 2 hours to come and sort this out.. The buffet food is the worst I have ever experienced. Is say this is an upgraded child's menu nothing fancier then that. Mostly cold and the cereal was stale. Thankfully you can book into the Italian resturant and steak House which is what we did for every evening that was slightly better just more options would have been preferable.. however this is more edible then the buffet. They have a snack back for lunch time in addition to the buffet. 3 times the ice cream self service was broken and the ice cream was slushy. The bbq area was however nice. Food again needed improvement but I have learnt this is not really their thing. The pool... don't I booked this hotel mainly as it said heated pool.....no no it's not. Its not heated at all. The manager said that there was a broken component.... Well that's been broken for the entire time we were here. It was such a shame.alas you could get in the pool which was cold but once your in your in..don't expect that to be clean either. We haven't seen one person clean the pool or attempt to clean it.. I could deal with little stones and leaves and the flying bugs. But the woodlice looking things were my limit. I wouldn't even contemplate staying here again its a straight up no. It has SOOOOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL but the staff are overwhelmed and there is an obvious reluctance to put money into this to get it to a 5 star standard they are looking for. I'd suggest this is a 3 star resort maximum
