梅爾漢姆海灘酒店(Melheim Beach Kalpitiya)

We booked our stay at Melheim for two nights and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. After a 4 hour drive getting there and arriving just after midday, hungry and ready to order food, we were told that nearly all items on the menu weren’t available; this was a common occurrence of our duration there. The attendant was overbearing, he would stand at our table and look at us while eating and ask questions about the food and not leave the table. On two occasions we found flies in our food and complained. The dining room is not air conditioned and doors are left wide open so while you’re eating during the day you’re attacked by flies and evenings you’re attacked by mozzies. As far as the positives go, the rooms were spacious, clean with comfy beds and air conditioner.

Très jolis petits bungalows en bord de plage. La mer est très bien. La plage est immense. Personnel très sympathique et serviable. Repas très bien à la carte, et très bons petits déjeuners. Le bémol est la forêt d'éoliennes qui borde l'hôtel et le village, et la centrale juste en bout de plage qui dénature un peu le paysage. Tout cela bien sûr, rien à voir avec l'hôtel. Il est situé très à l'écart, parfait pour une retraite au calme ou un voyage de noces.

Das Personal war super nett und hilfreich. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut. DascEssen war OK. Die Location war nicht so gut. Fern von allem zwischen einem Elektrizitätswerk und Windturbinen. Der Strand beim Hotel OK, sobald man am Strand weiter spaziert überall Plastikmüll.

The hotel had a great pool and the beach is so close to the hotel and the food so tasty Every one is kid they have cool artifacts and the rooms are so nice they have a mini fridge a tv an air conditioner tasty food a big pool one pool is 4feat and the other one is 3feat

.Beautiful and peaceful place the food was excellent the rooms were fantastic. The most relaxing place to be private beach,with beautiful palm trees ,Amazing place to watch the sunset, The staff was great specially Ananda who was so helpful and pleasing always with a smile everyone was so courteous. It's definitely a place to relax everyone of us had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

A very beautiful place with the nicest staff and good clean rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much. The wifi worked very well, we had a couple of days with work and the staff was very helpful and understanding. We loved the clean pool with good view to the ocean! Only bad thing was all the flies, that were a little annoying.

rooms and the environment were very much rewarding. Very clean and peaceful. Food was average. However the manager and the waiter weren't very interested in hosting guests. not inserted in accepting paid orders :( Wish there was an energetic younger crowd with good attitudes !

Spectacular place. Completely private beach. Lovely getaway for family or small group. Have been here twice. First visit we got to watch dolphins and whales. The food was good and service on par. A must

The property was okay and staff was super helpful. Room was large and it was comfortable with AC. The food was average but the staff did everything to make out stay pleasant. Should’ve had more seafood options since the property is in Kalpitiya.
