Meh. Had to ask for more towels . 1 towel for 2 people ? Tried to charge for 2 breakfasts at $48 bucks a pop and there was 2 pieces of ham and a piece of cheese left . Granted they took it off the tab but I seriously should not have to comb my bill to make sure these things are put on the bill.

Great location, clean room, nice restaurant onsite. Showers were great...with great water pressure. Bed comfortable. There is a terrific restaurant onsite and many restaurants with 2 blocks. One of the best museums in Canada is across the street from the hotel. Parking was offsite and costs about $20/day. My only complaint is that they can use an extra person in the lobby to help with check-in and luggage.

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue simplemente excepcional. Las habitaciones son modernas y impecablemente limpias, proporcionando un ambiente cómodo y acogedor. La ubicación es inmejorable, a menos de 5 minutos a pie de los principales atractivos turísticos del Viejo Quebec, lo que hizo mi estancia aún más placentera. Fantastic stay from arrival to departure. Our room was huge and well stocked. Great soaking tub in bathroom. Easy walk to Old Quebec sites. Do not overlook the restaurant, Il Matto, as I enjoyed twice in a 3 night stay.

My wife and I have been to Quebec several times, but this was the first time we stayed right the old city. We loved the hotel, our room, we had a loft, was spacious with a view of the Hotel Frontenac right outside our window. The location was perfect, we parked our car where able to walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The staff was great. There a is restaurant attached to the hotel that is excellent. It was our first time in winter, it was cold but the lack of crowds made it very enjoyable walking around. We are encouraging our son and his wife to go and stay there.

Only reason it’s not a 5 star is housekeeping. We were there 5 days, gone from 9:00 am to 4:00 most everyday and our room was cleaned once. Although they clean rooms daily they never made it before 5. We would just get new towels and coffee refills. Our bed was not remade, room cleaned etc. but one time. The hotel is a lovely location with wonderful restaurant. I just wish they had better housekeeping services.

This hotel is exceeded my expectations! rooms are spotless, we didn’t have to request for a clean, we came back after a whole day of activities, the bed was made, new towels provided. the staff are exceptional, polite, warm and friendly, my kids was treated very nicely! breakfast was good, cold cuts cheese croissants and some fruits. overall amazing stay! I would def book at hotel 71 again on our next visit!

Super clean and cozy room. Room was very spacious and accommodating. Amazing location and within a maximum 20 minute walk from everything. Very quiet neighborhood as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a great hotel in old Quebec City!

Magnifique séjour dans cet hôtel charmant et incroyablement bien situé au cœur du vieux Québec. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y sommes revenus durant notre séjour alors que ce n’était pas prévu ! Privilégiez les chambres avec vue (sublime) sur le château Frontenac et/ou le Saint Laurent… se réveiller et s’endormir face à ces paysages est une expérience unique. L’ensemble du personnel est très agréable. Notamment Ryan à la réception et surtout Sabryna qui trouve des solutions pour rendre votre séjour unique. Merci ! La salle de sport est très sympathique également. Seul mini-bémol, le petit-déjeuner pourrait clairement offrir davantage de choix et de diversité… Bref, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
