The hotel overall is classic luxury. That said, although it is very clean and the service is excellent, it is a very old hotel. The decor in all rooms in particular is very outdated with horrible carpet and even worse curtains. It's kind of depressing to be honest. The best part of the rooms are the bathrooms and the view, if you can get one. I felt my room definitely needed ventilation. There was no fresh air coming through since the windows are bolted shut. The in-room dining food was just okay, but again, the service was great.

Wonderful hotel. Clean, very friendly staff. Nice gift shops. Restaurants inside were very good with great customer service. Holiday window displays and incredibly large gingerbread house were very fun. Rooms are very spacious and we had a great view of the courtyard and the mountains. Parking is $24 per night. Room service was great as well. Worth the experience and I’ll leave with great memories.

This stay was very disappointing and there is just no way that it is worth the money that we paid. The rooms are EXTREMELY outdated (beds, furniture, carpet, wall coverings, lamps all look like something from the 70s). The temperature controls did not work well. We had a big stain on our floor. The bedding looked like something from a Motel 6. Our Keurig machine was broken and there is no microwave nor a fridge in the hotel room! I’ve been in hotels 1/3rd this price with better amenities. The hotel lobby and pool are very nice but I’d never stay in a room at the Grand America again.

I was disappointed that we stayed 3 nights and never had our room cleaned even once. I also was frustrated that I never got a receipt of charges, but saw it on my credit card. It's very pretty inside and we liked being able to do self parking because we were coming and going often. It is also nice how you can walk right outside and catch Trax. We also liked the in room ammenties. It was decorated for Halloween and they were starting to do Christmas which was all very pretty why the lights on all the trees. Probably will stay there again.
