Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Airport-Liberty Station

This property sat right on the water. It was in close proximity of several restaurants. My family really liked the separate bedrooms and the full kitchen. The breakfast was also a plus. The outside grounds was really nice with a bbq grill, fireplaces, sitting areas, and basketball court. My only bad thoughts is that the property could use a renovation and I saw several ants inside the building. However, I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are in need of improvement. The couch sofa is extremely uncomfortable and you do not have smart TVs. I would have NEVER booked the room if I had known that. We planned the last part of our trip around watching movies, we had limited choices, and could not stream. That's ridiculous for a chain of your caliber. Your other Homewood suites have smart TVs.

Not had at all, close toost downtown touristy things. We wish we would picked a place close because downtown parking is a bit tough. Something walking distance to downtown. Also, thw room qas clean but the furniture was stained and just seemed dirty and old. Otherwise place is solid

The only problem was that their airport shuttle stops running at 9pm. They told us to take a cab, and they’d reimburse us. That worked out ok, though the driver wasn’t familiar with the hotel. They efficiently reimbursed us the $20 in cash for the taxi ride (including tip), so it worked out ok, but I wish we’d known in advance.

The hotel is below average. Its old, the bed is horrible, the water is not very warm for a nice bath. People from front desk are not very nice. In global we recommend you to look for one of the other 3 o 4 hotel that are nearby because the area is very nice and worthy, but the hotel is not

This is our first time staying in liberty station and we love this hotel. The hotel itself seemed older but we’ll maintained and clean. We booked a room with a bay view and it was really nice, we had a king bed and a sofa bed and it was very spacious. Front desk allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier so we got to explore the area. We walked to the public market which was about 20 mins away depending on how fast you walk. ( we had a kids) the path was next to a lake with play areas on the way, really pretty such a better area compared to gaslamp. Overall had a great time.

The staff provided great service from registration to the housekeeping staff. Our family enjoyed themselves with the two bedroom and two bath room. It gave us great pride to be among so many service people and their families. The breakfast was outstanding and the evening appetizers were an actual meal. Thank you for our stay!

We stayed here since it was close to MCRD, only a few minutes drive. The Staff was awesome and so helpful! The breakfast every day was amazing! Our room was perfect, big enough for our family of 5. Nice facilities overall. We gladly stay here again.
