薩斯卡通麗怡酒店(Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Saskatoon, SK)

Location is a kinda too busy with some road construction right in front of the hotel reducing traffic to only one way. Hotel building and interior is old. Lacks that modern feel. Elevator was cranky with a shuddering thud at each ascension. Room was clean and appealing. Served free breakfast. Enjoyed my stay though.

I hate leaving a negative review but I’m just shocked how bad this hotel is now. My family and I have stayed at this hotel for the past 20 years. Dozens of stays and it used to be lovely. It was our go to place for seeing family in Saskatoon. Haven’t stayed for around 3 years. Used to be lovely staff, used to be super clean and cared for and the breakfast was such a value. The carpet in our room 315 was beyond filthy, horribly stained and dust and hair piled up in corners. Bathroom smelled of mold and old dish rags. Walls are filthy and stained too. I have photos but can’t attach them. Torn dirty curtains, weird stale smell. Fridge didn’t work, and the front desk staff were more bothered having to talk to me than helping me and my elderly Mother. They also leave the desk a lot and you have to wait. There used to be an amazing breakfast. Fresh fruit and options like bagels and muffins and cereal. Not anymore. There is coffee, machine juice, and white bread only for toast. Not sanitary at all. That’s it! No peanut butter or jam options. A Blueberry Jam pack is all you get. Instead of fresh food they offer a microwave sandwich you have to ask for at the desk. They are the 7-11 type mass produced breakfast sandwiches. Just gross! Either way for over $130/night is was not good. Dirty, smelly and so sad our favourite hotel is now uncared for.

Budget friendly. For a family of 5, I don't think we would have gotten any place to stay at the rate we got from this hotel. Room service is every 3 days and they inform you about it. They reach out via text as if to check how your stay is going but no one checks the responses to follow up on what is needed.

Left 1:30am because I was awoken by a bug in the covers with me crawling on my leg. It was a very large wood tick. Ants were crawling on the floor as well. I was told it was a wood tick as I killed it and left it there on the bed for the staff to see.

Séjour de deux jours. Chambre et salle de bain propres mais tapis taché à quelques endroits. Tranquille et sécuritaire. Bon déjeuner complet.
