薩羅旅館(Xaro Lodge)

Un endroit à ne pas manquer! Agréable transfert en bateau depuis le parking jusqu'au lodge. On a l'impression que le temps s'arrête. Nous sommes accueillis par un verre de bienvenue dans un décor apaisant et fabuleux. Les chalets sont joliment décorés avec un petit mot de bienvenue et la terrasse permet de contempler le delta, un magnifique coucher de soleil où les seuls bruits sont ceux des oiseaux. L'endroit est magique. Le soir, joli moment de détente près du brasero face au delta. On pourrait y rester des heures. Le dîner est servi soit dans la salle de restaurant ouverte, soit dans le jardin à quelques mètres de l'eau. Le décor et l'ambiance sont magiques. Le repas est de très bonne qualité. Le personnel est très attentionné, à l'écoute, présent. Un grand merci à eux pour avoir fait de ce séjour un moment inoubliable. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps. Je recommande sans aucun hésitation!

Petit paradis perdu au milieu des oiseaux et des plantes. Manager et personnel aux petits soins. En plus nous n étions que 4 dans ce magnifique Lodge. Les tentes sont très confortables et bien équipées avec moustiquaires et produits pour éloigner les moustiques. Repas délicieux et raffiné. Le guide nous a concocté une marche dans la savane et une promenade en bateau où nous avons pu voir crocodiles , éléphant et hippopotames. Bref , deux jours inoubliables au milieu de notre safari !

Un petit tour en bateau avec notre guide Thomas, homme passionné par la faune et la flore du Delta et heureux de nous montrer les hippos et crocos qui y vivent nombreux, très nombreux. Arrivés au lodge, un lodge magnifique, accueil très chaleureux de Romy au ponton. Pour dire à quel point ce sont des gens gentils, ils ont pris soin de nous traduire le menu du soir en français. Les bruits des hippos ont accompagné notre nuit, tout simplement magique. Que dire, sinon que nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps. Allez faire la balade sur le Delta, c'est fabuleux!

Lugar para disfrutar, precioso, con clase, buena comida y buen servicio. Estuvimos alojados hace muchos años y el buen recuerdo hizo que volviéramos esta segunda vez. Nos encontró que a pesar de lo bonito que era había mejorado

I just took a leap of fate and trusted the reviews I got online about Xaro Lodge, and that was one of the best decision I ever made. I wanted to go on a birthday vacation for my 40th and googled through the internet to choose a destination. By luck or fate, Xaro Lodge popped up and with the incredible feedback about the Lodge, I decided to go for it. To say I was happy with Xaro is an understatement, the place is great in all aspects. Adventure starts from a boat ride to the Lodge and I arrived to a nice crocodile surprise by my luxurious tent. The rooms are neat, very comfy bed, wonderful food, and what stood out for me is the wonderful host Renske and her incredible staff Matty, Fly, Poster,Nata, the Chefs everyone! What a great team you guys are!. I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy travelling solo but the Xaro Team ensured I enjoyed it beyond expectations. I was treated like a real birthday queen, with few surprises that includes a SPA trea**ent, and they even baked a special birthday cake for me. What also caught my attention is how organized Xaro Team is in ensuring that my travel was hustle free. From the pick up at Shakawe landing ***** to them confirming my departure time with Mack Air, everything was coordinated perfectly! I feel the 2 nights I stayed at Xaro were too short and a second visit to this paradise is on the cards.

Not just the location of the Lodge is unique, but also the friendliness and quality of the service. We had our dinner table set just at the shore of the Okavango River. Food and wines were amazing. We only stayed one night on our trip underway to the Caprivi *****. We should have stayed for a week!

Xaro was the best lodge we stayed at during our Botswana/Namibia travels. Sean is the ultimate host, and brilliant chef. the setting is magnificent and the staff amazing. I am recommending it to all my friends

What an amazing place. Lots of birds. Beautiful sunsets. The hosts Shaun and Romy were outstanding. They went over and above to see to all our needs. I can highly recommend this beautiful Botswana paradise to anyone looking for a great experience.
