Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, in der Suite war die Durchgangstüre defekt. Einrichtung des Hotels ist doch schon etwas abgewetzt. Lifte funktionieren auch nicht immer so toll und klein. Beim Frühstück muss man auch nicht zuviel Begrüssung erwarten und Punkt 10.00 stürmt die Köchin in den Saal und räumt in aller Schnelle das Buffet ab. Sind uns von einem fünf Sterne Hotel etwas anderes gewohnt. Vor dreissig Jahren waren die Sterne vielleicht berechtigt.

The hotel is PERFECTLY located in the middle of everything and was super comfortable. We had a huge room that was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay and the hotel staff. The rooms don't have an iron in them and all the irons were in use during our stay which was a bit upsetting. Also, I have to mention that the spa is below expectations.

Extremely disappointing check in. No one on the desk for 10 mins and once there was someone there they refused to acknowledge Gold ********** status. Argument ensued and I went to my room. Air-con didn’t work properly, and room was very dated. Moved room and checked out two days early. I cannot comprehend how this is 9.2 rated

This is a wonderful property and the staff is amazing. Everyone was extremely pricey and friendly every single day we stayed there. The housekeeping staff was always able to help and come back. We went to the testy, cafe, and lobby bar several times and were treated so well. I loved my stay in Sofia and a good part of it was staying at this hotel in such an excellent location In a comfortable place with amazing staff.

Meant to be one of the best hotels, however the room smelled of cigarettes. I was meant to also have inclusive spa access, however they said it would be extra charge, so lied. They changed the room to a worse room, with awful beds, and i rejected it. They lied and said they have nothing else available. I later then spoke to a manager and gave me a proper room, which was good in the end. The hotel obviously have a policy to try and offload the bad rooms first. Breakfast was pretty poor considering the cost and premium nature. Selection was very limited.

It’s hard to think where to start when reviewing that hotel. It started with the receptionist not finding one out of our 3 rooms (a manger found it in a min later on) and telling us that she does not care if we spend the night in the lobby. Continued with just horrible service all through. We wanted to amend something in our bookings but the sales department was off for a week! So no one to speak with. The Spa was closed because they didnt have staff and an overall feeling that no one really wants to work there. I will never stay again.

Clean, close to center, very large room. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was friendly. I like the painting exhibition in the lobby. Unique.
