居爾胡斯酒店(Hotel Djurhuus)

Ottimo compromesso. Fronte mare, parcheggio, colazione compresa nell’offerta. A 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e dal porto. Visitato a febbraio 2024 nel bel mezzo di giornate piene di neve.,. Camere ben riscaldate e colazione ben fatta, anche se proprio a voler essere pignoli, visto che erano occupate solo tre o quattro camere, le pietanze in sala erano poche e l’immagine un po’ deprimente. Ma ripeto, visto il periodo ci sta. Un appunto al personale … Perché non sono state mai rifatte le camere?

Very nice place; staff was great and the room was a good size. Their “laundry service” is really just a standard washing / drying machine in a back room that you have to do yourself. It was not convenient to use. I was hoping it would be more of a drop off / pick up situation. Just a note for future travelers.

Ved ankomst var receptionist venlig og hjælpsom. Rummene er gode og rene, men mangler et klædeskab. Morgenmaden kunne være bedre, brødet var ikke nybaget, udvalg af pålæg var ikke stort. Ingen nævneværdig støj.

Man kunne godt se at hotellet var nyrenoveret. Ligger dejligt centralt og flinkt personale. Flot udsigt derudover og fin morgenmad. Eneste minus var at der var ret lydt på vores værelse, men det er der nu på mange hoteller synes jeg. Det holder mig hvert fald på ingen måde fra at komme tilbage, når jeg kommer til Færøerne igen!

Skønt hotel, hyggeligt og komfortabelt. Servicen rigtig god og personalet får 12 ud af 10 stjerner.Skøn beliggenhed og tæt på midtbyen. Nød mit ophold og kan varmt anbefale det. Tusind tak fra mig

This is a lovely hotel which is spotlessly clean with very helpful staff in every way. The location is excellent- only a short walk into town with free parking at the front. The view is amazing - ask for a front room, we didn’t but luckily got one. The hotel is warm despite the weather outside (although it was pleasant when we were there in August. The only down sides are that the soundproofing between rooms is dreadful and the bed was extremely soft. We heard next door talking all the time and pings / alarms on phones which didn’t seem to get turned off! We prefer a harder bed so struggled with the softer mattress. However, overall we had a great stay (coffee / tea machine in rooms aswell as free tea / coffee from the breakfast room all day aswell as being able to eat a take away in the hotel at any time we wanted in that room). The cleaning staff were amazing; reception staff always polite and helpful; breakfast staff were very efficient - nothing was too much trouble for any staff. Thank you for a lovely stay and we recommend Hotel Djurhuus to anyone.

The hotel is situated just outside of the centre which is no problem since it is a small town. The better rooms have a sea view plus some dull houses, the others have a comprehensive cliff view. The quality is fine, nothing fancy but with good beds and a big TV (reception sometimes sketchy). Breakfast is good but on the basic side. They serve meals at least sometimes, we had one dinner which was great. Drinks are bought in the reception (limited selection).

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe vom Leuchtturm. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist zweckmässig und das Bad klein. Teppichboden und Duschvorhang sind nicht mehr zeitgemäss. In unserem Zimmer war noch der WC-Deckel abgebrochen. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer war direkt an eine Felswand. Das Zimmer verdient nur 3 Punkte. Das WLAN funktioniert gut. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist auch gut. - Hier ass ich das beste 3-Minuten Ei! Toll ist, dass man den ganzen Tag Kaffe oder Tee trinken kann und sich auch mit Obst oder Gipfeli bedienen darf. Auch vor dem Check in und nach dem Check out durften wir unsere Koffer zur Aufbewahrung einstellen. Für all das und den relativ günstigen Preis für die Färöer Inseln hat das Hotel 4 Punkte verdient.

Stayed for couple of nights in the Hotel Djurhuus. The hotel lobby and breakfastroom look modern, the rooms were bit tired but still very comfy except the pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was very good; eggs, sausages, beans, coffee, youghurt, muesli, fruits and so on. Staff was friendly, wifi worked well in the rooms too. Location was really good; short walk to the city center.
