布里斯託爾酒店(Hotel Bristol)

Hôtel très bien situé à Sorrente. Il suffit de quelques minutes pour se rendre au centre ville ( même pas 10) . Le personnel est accueillant et professionnel. L’hôtel il est vrai est de grande taille , classique et parfois peu moderne ( salle de bain grande et propre mais un peu datée) .Nous avions une chambre au dernier étage donnant sur la baie de Naples avec une jolie et grande terrasse équipée d’un jacuzzi. Je dirais que le grand avantage de cette hôtel est cette magnifique vue.

Pernottare al Bristol vuol dire immergersi in un’atmosfera di magia. Il personale altamente qualificare ha la capacità di farti sentire a casa. L’arredo è incantevole ed elegante. Le stanze complete di tutto con letti comodissimi. La colazione continentale è realizzata con cibo di prima scelta. Ad accompagnare questa splendida esperienza c’è il suggestivo panorama del Golfo di Napoli, che all’orizzonte infonde un’inedita serenità.

We stayed here ten years ago and loved it, but this stay was even better. The service is second to none. We have holidayed all over the world and never have we had such outstanding service. Particularly from Luca, Gianluca and Giuseppe in the restaurants, as well as Mario and Guiliana. As a vegan I was a bit worried as I’ve stayed in Sorrento many times and vegan food hasn’t ever been a strong suit; however, I was given my own special menu at every meal, with loads of options for each course that were all absolutely stunning. The quality of the food and drink is excellent, in every area of the hotel. The chefs are really wonderful! I had my clothes laundered and pressed; this service was brilliant as well, and very reasonably priced. The staff remember you and your specific likes and dislikes and cater everything to make you feel like the most important person in the world. The concierge couldn’t have been more helpful; as were the staff at the pool. The staff who helped with our luggage were so kind and helpful, and the maintenance and cleaning staff are always staying on top of the upkeep of the hotel. Our room was immaculate every day, as was every area of the hotel. The pool towels are soft and fluffy and the pool area and beds are very well maintained with no need to run and save beds- it is managed very well and there are more than enough beds around the pool. The outdoor terrace area is really lovely as well, during the day or in the evening, as is the bar. The views from the terrace in our room were second to none, and the walk into town was under ten minutes. We absolutely love Sorrento, and I have stayed in a good number of the hotels in the area, but we would never stay anywhere but The Bristol from now on. We’ve already started to plan our return visit. We cannot thank everyone at The Bristol Hotel for the best holiday we’ve had for years. Can’t wait to return!

Great food, evening menu changed daily with plenty of choice, large variety of breakfast and eggs cooked to order. ALL staff were friendly welcoming professional and hard working.Always willing to help. Views amazing. Rooms clean and bedding spotless. Plenty of towels in the room. 2 tea bags, milk, sugar and coffee in the room replenished daily. Shampoo, soap shower gel, body lotion, replenished daily. Only two issues. The pool was closed when it was rainling. They said because of the weather. Which I though was silly as when you get out of the pool you are wet. Disappointing as it would have been fun and filled in time on a wet day. The other gripe was the charge of Es1.50 for a pool towel. Why not charge a deposit and refund it when you return pool towels at the end of your stay? The lady in reception with long dark wavy hair was so helpful and efficient. Great place, short walk to town. I would recommend this hotel.

We booked a four day stay at Hotel Bristol to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel was everything we had hoped and more. Our room was very comfortable with a large balcony boasting stunning views across the bay to Vesuvius and Naples. We ate dinner in the restaurant on several occasions and couldn’t fault the standard of the food. The menu is extensive with so much choice that there is something for everyone. The same goes for the breakfast; there is so much food to choose from it would be a struggle to not find anything that suits. The hotel is well looked after. Everywhere was very clean and tidy even after a huge storm! The jewels in the Bristol crown are, most definitely, the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly especially Luca, Giuseppe and Carmine to mention just a few in the restaurant but the reception staff and the housekeeping staff were equally helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, for example, we didn’t finish our bottle of wine at dinner one evening and it was saved (without us realising) and brought to our table the next time we ate there. We had never been to Sorrento and wanted a decent hotel, look no further than Hotel Bristol. The Hotel has a stunning view across Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. The place itself is what I would call regal chic, from a bygone era, that still works in 2023. The staff can’t do enough for you, they all embarrassingly (for us) speak incredible English. The food is to die for. Breakfast buffet (fill your boots) with cold meats, breads, cakes, fruit , etc etc plus a hot brekkie (more English but not if you get what I mean). Authentic high quality Italian dishes in the evening. You won’t go hungry. The swimming pool, outside bar and lounging areas are on the roof. Unreal views from there.

We have just returned from our second visit to the wonderful Hotel Bristol. Not only do the views from the rooms, bar, restaurant and pool merit this a five star review but more so the fantastic staff. We spent a week last year at this hotel and so impressed were we that we had to come back this year. And as soon as we entered the restaurant for breakfast we were greeted like long lost friends. Luca and Giuseppe remembered us from last summer and treated us like VIPS. The rooms are spacious and clean to say the least and those views across the bay to Vesuvius are incredible. The zero entry pool is deep and cool and never is there a time when you can’t find a sun bed next to it No need to bag a bed before breakfast that is for sure! Lunch on the pool bar terrace is a must. Sitting in the shade overlooking the bay high up on the cliff. Sundowners on the day beds were also a highlight and became part of our routine. We ate in the restaurant for a couple of nights as we did last year and whilst the menu had nothing that my 13 y/o daughter fancied this was no problem as the staff made up a pasta dish for her that wasn’t on the menu. The walk into Sorrento town is no more than 5 mins down hill and whilst The Bristol is perched imposingly high up in the cliffs the incline is gradual and easy to do, even on the way back up. Our daughter, affectionately named ‘the mini boss’ by Giuseppe and the rest of the team, is already asking when we can go back. Torna a Surriento, Famme campà! These words from the infamous song are so true when it comes to visiting The Hotel Bristol. Bellissimo. The Chapman family

Had a wonderful 7 night stay at Hotel Bristol, both our room and the hotel had the most amazing views across the bay and decorated true to the Italian feel. Our room was spacious & clean, with daily housekeeping and the pillows were so comfy! We were half-board - I could not fault the dishes nor breakfast. The restaurant team, led by Luca were certainly a highlight of our stay. Luca and team were so helpful and friendly, from changing dishes if required, to finding us a table with a view daily, a real personal service! The pool & bar again lovely, great views and never a fight for a sunbed. We took our own towels to avoid the daily €1.50 charge. My only small negative would be the fact you cannot use the room fridge for your own supplies, it was extremely hot when we stayed, so some complimentary water or the ability to keep your own water in the fridge would’ve been super. Sorrento itself is beautiful, with everything you need, we are already planning another trip! Many thanks Hotel Bristol - we’ll definitely be back.

Like many others who have reviewed I can not speak highly enough of this hotel. Firstly the views, overlooking the town and the bay are just stunning and you’d never get bored of them! We had a room on the 6th floor which was great from a view perspective and also further away from the road so the traffic noise was less obvious. Would recommend a room higher up for that reason. Rooms were clean, bright and airy. It was very warm during our stay so the pool was a welcome relief. Plenty of beds so never a need to fight for one! Plenty of options for beds in the sun or shade. Pool bar was great and the staff there really friendly. We went HB. Breakfast had everything you could need and was nice to have the cooked items (eggs, bacon and sausage) done to order. You can swap your evening meal for the lunch time. This was perfect, on days we had by the pool we took lunch but on days we were out all day we had dinner. Food quality and choice for both is really good. Staff at the hotel were first rate! Reception staff very helpful and restaurant staff were just so friendly! Huge thank you to Luca, Guiseppe and all the restaurant team, you made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is the perfect location for exploring the town (only 15 mins walk). Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
