Hate to sound ****** and uncharitable but this is the ever so typical divey Super 8 run by an Indian family. The room was quiet, as requested; but it was beaten up, carpet old and worn, holes in both bathroom and outside door, plaster coming off ceiling, sheets old and worn with multiple holes. Bed and all furniture worn out and old. To be fair, have stayed in some very nice, clean Super 8's. This IS NOT one of them. No one at the desk when came in and had to ring multiple times, at 9 am, when I checked out, only to be greeted by a very unkempt Indian woman who appeared to have just crawled out of bed. No coffee no beverages no breakfast at all NOTHING. Excuse was 'remodeling' but there was NO TRACE of any remodeling happening anywhere on premises. Figure it is an easy out to cut corners. Place needs to be condemned. TOTAL RIP OFF

The floors in the room I stayed in have seen better days. The same can be said about the bathroom. The bed is low to the ground and the mattress was adequate. The refrigerator worked. The place advertises a to go breakfast. When I checked out I had to ask first the to go breakfast. It was not offered at the time I f check out. I personally will not stay here again

Front desk clerk was very kind, and protective. Suggested I should not walk to any restaurants. Keep him.

This hotel is disgusting! It is dirty from the outside to the inside. The check in left me feeling very unwelcomed. All he seemed to care about was my card that he could put the deposit on. Once entering the room I couldn't believe what I saw. This is truly the worst hotel experience I've had in my life. The walls were filthy, holes/chips in the wall, not sure some of the stuff on the wall wasn't blood, the covers of the bed were ripped and stained, dust caked on throughout the room, the bathroom was dirty, tub faucet was dripping, toilet had chips in the lid and dirty, exhaust fan had balls of dirt and dust falling off. The a/c unit had bugs and dirt in the vent. The carpet had tape on it. The beds are broken down and very uncomfortable. The positive of the stay was that I did not see any bedbugs however something did manage to bite and leave marks on my ankles, I am assuming fleas. I would have left immediately however I was waiting on a family member and quite honestly felt like the man would place charges on my card. I could not wait for 4am to come so we could leave to catch our flight! Would not stay here again and would not recommend this location to anyone!

It took 40 min to check in, dirty light switches, a hole in the carpet, the blanket in the bed had 3 large holes in it and the bed was like a springy trampoline . We went out that evening and didn't get back until 11 and even though the sign on the door said locked use your key it was unlocked. I did not feel safe. I will NEVER stay at a super 8 again! I would love a refund!!

Don’t ever reserve a stay at this hotel as the owner scammed me out of money plus left me and my 2 kids without a place to stay after lying about a deposit

We waited 15 mins before someone came to the desk, the room was a 100 degree and the hallway leading to the room was 115 degree, there was holes in the blankets, the bathroom had holes in the walls and was taped with masking tape, the mattress was very old, fyi if traveling with a dog get ready for a charge which nothing was said ! Would NOT RECOMMEND !!!!

We just got home from a week-long trip. I wanted you to know I booked a room at the Super 8 by Wyndam in Springfield, Missouri, for one night on August 8, 2022, on our way to Terre Haute, Indiana to see my very ill brother. The on-line bill reflected $68.05, and it was in good faith that we accepted this amount. I should have made time to look at their overall rating which reflected poorly on them, but I was concerned about getting to my ill brother. We had our two small dogs with us and the hotel was listed as "pet friendly." We arrived and the proprietor, I believe her name was Ruth, said she had to add an additional $20 per dog to our bill. I was extremely upset at this as on the bill notice I received and the one I showed her, there was no indication of any additional payments for pets! When I told her I was going to make a complaint about this, her response was, "I DON'T CARE"! She told me I should have went to their page to see the pet stipulations. She had a bad attitude and was extremely rude to us, and by then it was much too late to get another hotel that would accept dogs, as well called others hotels in the area. When I checked out the next morning, my bill was $150.00, 81.95 more that I budgeted for!!!! The room was crap and in no way did it reflect the photographs we saw. I took pictures of the room condition. I could not stay to argue with them as my brother was in critical condition by that time and we really had to go. We feel totally ripped off. I want my $81.95 returned to my account and Ruth and the others reprimanded for their terrible customer service skills.

dirty room, bed, air condition, noise, bedsheet, old bathroom, room, very small carpet is dirty and I am advised nobody goes there. All is the trash room.

Charged full price and no breakfast available at 8am as advertised. Poor customer service when confronted about issues. Peter was verbally rude joking about the situation. We told him “you win the poor customer service award” he responded “yay!”

Had to wait for the room to be ready when we arrived at 4:30, checkin was supposed to be at 3. No coffee or breakfast in the morning. Key card reader on side door didn't work.

The whole building was awful, but then you go inside and there is an odor like no other. The rooms were horrific. There were holes in the door that resembled a fight that involved kicking and punching. Holes in the wall and what looked like old blood stains on the carpet. The room I was offered was outside and the only one outside. It was terrifying. The workers were around the door all the time and were rude.

This property has a mediocre location, staff that doesn’t know the meaning of the word service, and zero amenities. No breakfast, no microwave, no coffee service, and no customer service. Why would you pay to stay here?
