阿斯特拉酒店(Hotel Astra)

Right in the middle of old town, so location was great. Very close to touristy shopping. Reserved parking is available for 12,5 euro per day. Good luck finding any other place to park. Check in and out was great. Staff was cordial, helpful and English proficient. On site free breakfast was very good. Restaurants for other meals are everywhere. The room was very nice, comfortable and very clean. Elevator to 4th floor worked very well. Very nice place. I recommend it and will stay there again.

Amazing hospitality (especially great thanks to Emina from front desk) and they guided me well with good advices about the city. Also I got help for Mostar tour. I will come back (soon I hope). Room was clean and big enough. Location is ultra good (just next to Bascarsija).

I found the hotel to be (so far) the best on my 3 week holiday to Europe. Staff is very friendly, and gracious. They have a large DELICIOUS breakfast spread that goes till late (at least 10:00am, i think even later) which is great cuz i often stay up late and have late breakfast. location is amazing, right in the middle of Old Town. everything is within 5 min walk, all the big sites in Sarajevo. Id stay here again in a minute. room is big, spacious, clean. Everyone speaks English in the hotel and very helpful. 5stars all the way.

The hotel is in the heart of the city…excellent for the eternal flame,Latin bridge,genocide museum,pigeon square… Friendly staff,continental breakfast….no bar,but plenty of bars just outside the hotel.

Positive: Hotel is centrally located to Baščaršija. Parking is available at Hotel Europe if you can find a spot for 25 Euros. Reception staff is friendly and nice. Negative: you won’t get much sleep from the nightlife scene and loud music that plays until 2am. Our room smelled musty, the towels in the bathroom were damp, the bathroom emitted a foul odor, the a/c didn’t work, and the arrangement of rooms on floor 4 is pretty mind boggling. You climb up 6 flights of stairs, and then down a flight to reach a section of rooms. Not ideal for heavy luggage.

In the heart of Sarajevo, next to the Baščaršija old town and Pigeon Square. Hotel Astra is professionally run. Very clean. Some rooms come with bigger windows facing the streets and pubs. Of cause, that comes with noice, these rooms also come with mountain views. If that's an issue there are rooms facing the inside with no noice at all but no view. The business suits were spacious and very pleasant. Muza, the day time front desk gentlemen was a genuine guy, also very accommodating. He'll always help you the best he could. Two other staff on the front desk including a lady were also very kind and helpful except an older guy was down right hostile. He would frown and walk away if you ask him anything. Breakfast smorgasbord was plenty and delicious. A taxi ride to the central bus station will cost $7 mark. To air port is about $12. I'd definitely stay in this hotel again ❤️

Incredible location and friendly staff, but in need of refresh. Our room had a moldy smell to it. If they gave it a little uplift to replace carpets and address the smell, we would definitely come back.

We got a smelly room. Hard pillows couldn’t sleep on. Reception was definitely not open 24h… Breakfast was all cold, no taste. Cleaning was awful, they forgot or let us make bed ans prepare and fix our own bed sheets etc.

The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the Latin Bridge and Baščaršija. The rooms are a little dated, but were spacious with lots of storage. It was however impossible to securely lock the hotel room door from the inside - there was no manual lock/chain as you would find in most hotels.
