We love this hotel but this time we didn’t have any extra toilet paper as we ran out and are ice bucket still had water in it from the last guest so we really felt this trip was not as clean as b4 and there was nothing posted about the pool being closed even after calling and asking questions about the hotel. Then when we checked out the gentleman that toke my key just said thank you never asked me how my stay was or anything.

Came here for a one night stay cause my Son was looking at Penn State. It’s down the road from the college. We arrived on a Wednesday night 12:30am. The lady at the front desk was very nice thanked me for my Ambassador status. Asked why we are visiting and told my Son good luck. Told us what time the Bistro opens and told me that she will be making coffee before it opens. The hotel is very clean, room is huge and very clean. Not a big deal but when I went to take a shower the body wash was empty in the shower. I did bring my own but it’s just a little detail. This hotel looks like it was just redone. We wish we could stay here longer. Bistro in the am was fast and food was real good. Definitely will use this hotel again if my Son decides to go here.

So-so Courtyard. Rooms clean upon arrival. Well lit parking lot. I'll bet many travelers stay here on business and, like me, are up early and would like coffee in the morning. The coffee service in the room features a little pillow bag of coffee for water to dribble through for a weak tasteless brew. There is a coffee bar in the lobby that sells coffee, but it isn't open early. You will need to drive to a nearby gas station for your coffee. No housekeeping either during my stay. You get two towels and that's it. I don't know what to do with full wastebaskets.

This was my "go too" hotel for my daughters upcoming PSU graduation next May. I had stayed here for my older daughters college graduation in 2021. Hotel is close to campus and clean with nice hotel staff. At the time in 2021 it checked all the boxes as to what we needed for a graduation weekend.....close to campus, close to town filled with bars and restaurants for celebration, free parking for our car. Yesterday dates opened for May 2025 reservations . I was shocked and saddened to see rates for this weekend for a standard 2 queen bed room are $949.00 a night. Shame on you Marriott, looks like greed has taken over. My only hope is that anyone reading this post will look at the surrounding areas ....15 minutes north, south,east or west of this hotel are much better rates. Without a customer Marriott , you dont stay in business !!!

Stayed here during our tour of the university. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Drinks were good at the bar in the evening. Overall a very good stay and would return in the future. Location is good for accessing campus with a few restaurants nearby.

What a great location with very spacious suites. We stayed with the family and had great comfort. The building is new and nicely decorated and maintained very well. Swim pools looks great, we wish we had our swim suite in the middle of the snow storm just to enjoy a bit swimming in this relaxing pool. Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood.

Traveling for business, I tucked into the Courtyard for the evening. It's a well established facility that provides great old fashioned service. I was warmly greeted by Jose Felix, a well skilled service professional. He recognized my membership and thanked me for my loyalty. It's the little things that make a long business trip less laborious. My accommodations were tidy and clean. The hotel's location is wonderful. Close to many key spots in State College. Jose and many of his team members reached out to me at breakfast, asking about my stay and discussing local sports. Great place with high level of service excellence.

This hotel is a solid option for this side of town. We stay here when visiting my family at the retirement home directly across the street. Clean room, comfy beds, small but clean bathroom. Good work space. Small fridge but no microwave. Coffee pot in the room. They serve breakfast made to order in the lobby, but we didn't eat there, so I cannot comment on the food. Didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked like a good option for swimming a few laps. Adequate parking spaces available. My feeling is that the price point is just a bit high for what you get, the only fault I can find with this hotel.

I just stayed for 2 nights during PSU orientation. I liked that I could be on the campus in about 6 minutes which I think was closer than the Springhill I stayed in the last time. The room was good and the bed was comfy. I am not a fan of tub showers, but they made up for it by have miniature shampoos etc and not those gross 'environmental' bug pump ones that gross me out. One negative was the first morning with "Do not disturb" on the door, we were woken up by housekeeping because she was doing inventory and wanted to know if we had a microwave in the room. I was not happy at all, and after I told her so, as she was walking away she called me rude ( I wasn't). But outside of that incident I was happy with my stay.
