泰海格旅館(Ty Helyg Guest House)

Christine is een geweldige gastvrouw, goed onthaal met ruim de tijd om een aantal zaken te verduidelijken en of te vragen. Wij hadden de Twin kamer op het eerste verdiep. Mooie kamer met heel goede bedden, maar een nadeel is het heel kleine wasbakje. Dit is te klein voor op een badkamer eigenlijk meer iets voor op een toilet. Maar de douche was prima. De badkamer is in zijn geheel te klein voor een langer verblijf maar omdat wij maar 1 nacht bleven voor ons geen probleem. Faciliteiten aanwezig en ook een heerlijke lounge op het gelijkvloers met diverse dranken. Ook leuk gezelschap van een super vriendelijke hond. Het ontbijt is prima verzorgd en lekker. Te bestellen wat je graag eet. Nog een klein nadeel is dat er geen private parking aanwezig is. Maar toch is het verblijf ons uitstekend bevallen.

Excellent guesthouse in the centre of Brecon. Beautiful period building run by a helpful and friendly couple. Very clean with comfortable bed in a large room. A large breakfast sets you up for the day ahead. Dogs very welcome.

My friends and I are returning guests to Ty Helyg. The accommodation is first class and the breakfasts are wonderful. The hosts Christine and Robin are very welcoming and nothing is ever to much trouble considering we are a large group. We will be back!!!

Very nice indeed. They went out of their way to please. Very clean, quiet and comfortable . Bathroom was very high standard and bed was also very comfy.My room was the top floor and although looked onto the sideroad was quiet on a Saturday night. Close enough to visit the Hay festivals, in central Brecon, close to amenities.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the guest house with Christinr as our hostess. The accommodation was excellent and met our needs. Breakfast was delightful and catered exactly as requested. We would highly recommend this guest house and Brecon for your visit to Wales.

Host Christine was very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful and made to order. The Guest house is near the village centre, close to pubs and restaurants. Parking is at 5 minutes walk near the theatre, but you can stop shortly in front of the guesthouse for unloading your luggage. The room was spotless. Nice firm kingsize bed. Although the room was on a busy road, we did not notice any traffic noise during the night. The shower stall was tiny, but it worked. Reccommended.

Not the first time I’ve stayed here. The best place to stay in Brecon, very close to the town centre. The hostess Christine and her husband Robin are amazing very attentive to everyone’s needs, I would not want to stay anywhere else when in Brecon for the annual get together.

Fantastic stay. Christine and partner run an excellent b and b / hotel. Stayed there for many years. Always clean and tidy. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended and so welcoming. Staff always go the extra mile too assist- parking has also been sorted via the hotel. Will be back.

We have just enjoyed a weekend staying at Ty Helg Guest House, the guest house is beautifully decorated and spotlessley clean from top to bottom. The rooms are well appointed and the bed is so comfortable which means an excellent night's sleep. The best thing are the hosts who are so welcoming and run the guest house very effeciently. Will definately be returning.
