塔伯特酒店(The Tarbet Hotel)

早餐服務友好而周到。早餐還可以。 酒店和房間有難聞的氣味。

Cet hôtel est vieux et n'est pas entretenu. le personnel fais ce qu'il peux dans un désordre stressant. la chambre avec des traces de moisi au mur et la porte de salle de bain qui se délamine n'inspire pas confiance. les 150€ pour une nuit sont exagerer

Das Zimmer „mit Seeblick“ (man musste schon den Hals recken, um einen Zipfel vom See zu sehen) mit Mini Dusche/WC war renoviert und in Ordnung. Das Hotel Treppenhaus innen und außen war völlig heruntergekommen und verdreckt. Der Blick in die Küche durch eine offen stehende Hintertür hat uns vom Essen abgehalten.

The hotel itself is showing its age, and in the dining room where we were placed, there were slug/snail trails on the floor in the corner. The rooms were OK, need uopdating, the bed ws uncomfortable. we went for the Bed/Breakfast/Evening meal option, the evening meal was not good at all, and we complained to the food and beverage manager, who said to complain diretly on our return also. Breakfast was only served from 8.ooam, and we needed to leave by 7.45 for a ferry from Oban, so no breakfast, but they did give us a packed lunch, simple sandwich, apple, packet of digestive biscuits, and a bottle of water. - we had been sat next to a couple on a Shearing coach trip who werent happy with the hotel either, and complained about the food also. Unfortunately for them they had 4 night at the hotel in total, and this was their fist night

Wir waren in der Vorsaison dort und das Hotel befand sich immer noch im Umbau. Die Mitarbeiten an den Rezeption waren stets sehr freundlich. Der Fahrstuhl funktionierte noch nicht, aber wir waren nur im 1. Stock und unsere Koffer nicht schwer. Es hatte einen Parkplatz, der auch für die Hotelgäste zusätzlich 10 Pfund extra kostete. Das Zweibettzimmer war sauber mit bequemen Bett und gut geheizt (die Autoscheiben waren morgens gefroren). Es hatte einen Wasserkocher mit Tee/Kaffee. Das Bad war sehr einfach mit kaum Abstellfläche. Das Toilettenpapier war nicht aufgefüllt (nur eine kleine, angefangene Rolle war vorhanden). Es hatte eine schöne Hotelbar mit leider ausgesprochen unfreundlichen jungen Mitarbeiter, weshalb wir uns entschlossen im Dorf das Abendessen einzunehmen. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine grosse Auswahl, aber es war alles etwas schmuddelig inkl. die Kleider der Mitarbeiter.

When arriving we heard that we were moved to a different hotel (The Claymore) because they were overbooked even though we booked months in advance. Personnel at the Tarbet Hotel didn't seem to care or apologized. Our only option was The Claymore. Staff at The Claymore did its best but it wasn't what i expected.

No a/c, cost twice as much through *******, green eggs/food inedible, no working elevator, the "loch view" was a sliver of a window, can feel the old springs in the bed. These are the nicest things i can say about it.

Dirty windows with bird droppings on window. Dust in room. Very smalll shower and toilet area. No toilet paper The Hotel is very tired Evening meal and breakfast very good. Had to pay for parking.
