Overall, the hotel is very nice and seems pretty clean. We stayed on the twelfth floor and it wasn't horrible. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and we enjoyed quite a few of them during our weekend stay. We were told that there was access from the building to the parking lot that was easier to use, but another staff member told us that this was not the case. This resulted in us having to walk out the main doors and up to the top of the parking facility. That was a minor inconvenience. After the event we attended at RBC Place London on Saturday, Aug 26, a lot of other event-goers had a difficult time getting back to their rooms simply because there was a wedding party taking photos in the elevators on the third floor. Another small group and ourselves decided to take the stairs, and realized what was happening when we reached the third floor and saw them doing photography. They even tried to block the buttons on the elevators. This is absolutely ridiculous. The lobby was full of people trying to use the elevators to get back to their rooms. We couldn't even take stairs the whole way up because all the other ones were marked for emergencies only. Other than that, the stay itself was not horrible. My only real complaint is that there isn't even breakfast included. For a hotel that price, I feel like it should be.
