I book one night during the MLK weekend and bring my kid back to his school. I don't want to drive 8 hours straight back and forth therefore I book a night to stay. However, the stay was really unpleasant and compare to my last stay just last Septemeber, everything just went wrong this time... 1) We checked in with the app therefore room was assigned in the afternoon, however, due to traffic, we arrive late after dinner then the app said I need physical keys instead of electronic keys, then I checked in around 10:30pm. Room was assigned on 2nd floor first, however, when we went up the room, there is no thermostat in the wall. Then call the front desk and the lady came up with the new keys.... 2) we went to the new room on 3/f, good, the thermostat was there, yes, that ”thermostat” was on the wall but no power and we can't control it, then the room has very strong smell of soy sause, maybe someone eat sushi in the room and the whole room has that smell. No one can stand the smell and the a/c unit can't control through the thermostat therefore I called down to front desk again.... then the phone has problem, according to the front desk staff, she said she keep saying something but nobody answer! I agreed, because I can't hear anything from it, that's why I called and called and finally need to go down to change the room again. My wife found out the bed has been used but covered back and we don't really like that so we all bring all bags and went down again..... 3) finally switch to another one on 3/f again and this time thermostat was there and works fine, the bed were clean and neat, no one touch it. But after a while we found that the toilet paper was only 1/3 of the roll left and the other side was empty already. But that's okay and glad no one has stomach problem so we let it go, but later found out that the sink was seriously clogged.... 4) Maybe the room just temporary assigned to us then no water bottle for us, usually as a elite member, we will have water bottle during checked in, then there will be two more in the room next to the coffee machine..... sorry nothing at all. I was too tired at the moment and not even remember that front desk staff wasn't apologized for the mishappen and her face was kind of unpleasant too... (the laundry plastic bag was missing too!) I was disappointed and unhappy that their house keeping was not really up to par and their staff wasn't friendly at all and seems like they have been over work or under lot of stress already... Sorry I couldn't help if you are short staff or having a very bad seasons, but as a guest, I just want a pleasant stay after 5 hours drive. I think I am courteous, polite and reasonable enough as I can... Maybe I shouldn't stay there anymore.

我們在從密歇根到緬因州的旅途中只住了一晚。4口之家和我們的魏瑪納。當我檢查我們時,辦公桌的兩個工作(男人和女人)是如此的風度和樂於助人。我遲遲才收到評論,所以很遺憾,我記不起他們的名字,但我只想說,這兩個人真的很棒。有了我們的小狗,他們肯定會把我們放在一樓,靠近外面的門。這可能看起來不是一筆巨大的交易,但帶着狗旅行,這會帶來不同!我們的房間乾淨寬敞,游泳池區很好,家人喜歡自助早餐。我們一定會再次選擇(Burrstone Inn)Ascend Hotel。

This was a great place to stay as we were traveling West from Vermont. The staff were friendly and the hot breakfast was excellent. We were traveling with a pet and it was very nice to be able to park right outside our room and had a covered walk-way to the room.
