玫瑰之家(Maison Rose)

L’expérience a débuté difficilement lors de la réservation, même après discussion avec l’hôtel directement, le tout était complexe. Par la suite je reçois un appel de l’hôtel pour me demander à quelle heure j’allais arriver, pour moi c’était difficile à prédire puisque j’étais sur un bateau à voile sur le lac des deux-montage, on m’avise qu’après 18.00 il avait une charge de $25.00 de l’heure pour l’employé reste pour faire la réception. Bon finalement j’arrive vers 19.15 . On me propose le petit déjeuner pour demain matin à un tarif de $17.00 continental et $38.00 viennoiseries, fruit, fromage. Bon à leur suggestion nous prenons un de chaque pour demain matin. La chambre et espace commun très jolie, la terrasse est très belle. Literie très bien. Pour les produits de bain , minuscule savon en pâte pour la douche, minuscule shampoing. C’est tout à fait inacceptable pour le prix de la chambre. Le lendemain matin Notre petit déjeuner servi sur la très belle terrasse sur un cabaret. Aucun jus d’orange , pour le café, seulement un café type américain. Aucun cappuccino disponible. Un croissant, pain , et un pain chocolat , fruit mélangé dans une assiette. Enfin une très grande déception. Pour résumer, l’hôtel une note de 4 Service 3 Produit de bain 2 étoiles Petit déjeuner 2.5 étoiles

La Maison Rose est un endroit très propre et confortable. Le service est toutefois sporadique. Pour avoir un service assuré, il est important de s'y rendre après 16h. Nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et personne n'était à l'accueil, malgré le fait que l'on pouvait entrer. Mon épouse a appelé et laissé un message deux fois sans jamais avoir de réponse. Lorsque nous avons demandé à l'hôtesse s'il y avait des restaurants à découvrir dans le village, elle nous a répondu qu'elle ne connaissait pas trop bien la région. Je recommande peut-être un babillard avec des lieux à visiter à l'accueil afin que les invités puissent avoir une idée des différentes activités à faire à Hudson. Nous avons du faire toutes nos recherches sur Google puisque personne ne pouvait nous aider.

As a fiction writer, enjoying the magnificent decor and atmosphere was a truly inspiring experience. Our stay was imbued with love and humanity that was worth every penny. Thanks so much Maison Rose for the stupendous hospitality and much needed day of rest. Will be planning on returning for another extravagant night Room 3

Lovely old Victorian house…full of antiques and beautiful old paintings. It’s like walking into another era. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere and good service!

Cozy, well maintained property. Room was tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could need. Easy check-in and able to let ourselves in when returning in the evening. Our room had a lovely deck which we would have enjoyed if the weather had cooperated. Only criticism would be that the room was very tight and the queen size bed was right up against the compact washroom.

Great stay and great place. In fact planning to return again in the next couple weeks.

Excellent, welcoming, professional manager. The Maison Rose is an outstanding piece of intricately detailed professional design ingenuity replete with carefully selected antiques, art work and decoration pieces at every turn. The facility is clearly the result of someone's labor of love. Every room. every corner, every hallway ... is rife with interesting artifacts, paintings and visual surprises. This is a skillfully created piece of design art presented in a methodically executed, high quality, bare-bones renovation of a local historical building. Phenomenal!

Overall poor, not recommended. Beware of extra charges for in-room coffee (!!) that were not explained or described at check-in. Instructions and costs of electric vehicle charging station were not readily available. Poor customer service, we were told on arrival that if we did not like the tiny room we were assigned "we could go somewhere else". My wife and I were not made to feel welcome. Our reservation was made 5months in advance.

This hotel is very nice, beautiful gardens, and great hosts. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower head with good pressure. We found the meals a little on the expensive side for what you get $17.00 for a croissant, coffee and jam. $45.00 for a cheese platter with some fruits and crackers. We also found that some of the paintings throughout the hotel were a bit on the creepy side. Would recommend.
