戈登斯拉姆精品酒店(Boutique Hotel Goldenes Lamm)

Tired hotel room with dated furnishings and threadbare carpet. Most uncomfortable foam mattress ever. Looked out onto busy side road instead of main square. Disappointing as pictured were clearly of the rooms in the renovated section of the hotel. Biggest positives were delicious breakfast and great location.

Located at the end of the bridge over the Drava river and at the very beginning of the pedestrian area, the hotel continues an old tradition: the building has been used as an inn – and later as a hotel – since the second half of the XIX century. The rooms have been recently renovated and furnished with good taste, and they are wide and spotless. The breakfast offers quite a variety of different food, and you will find some nice pieces of pottery with elegant blue and withe patterns. Good value for money and very helpful and friendly staff.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Goldenes Lamm in Villach. This is a delightful old building which has been lovingly restored and has retained many of it's original features. The rooms are off a sunny corridor which has a terrace at the end. Both the bathroom and the room were very spacious and nicely furnished with old pieces of furniture. Big bed! As the weather was very hot we were glad of the conditioning. Breakfast was good and varied. We had a minor query which the staff dealt with quickly and efficently. Although not owned by the same people there is a restaurant and bar in the same building which we used a couple of times and we can also recommend. I really have no negitive comments about this hotel and will book again when we return to Villach.It's located at the start of the main Hauptplatz so a very convenient location and within a couple of minutes walk from the station.

Hotel situato all’inizio della via centrale di Villach con disponibilità di parcheggio nelle zone blu circostanti. Personale sempre cordiale e disponibile, le stanze (questa è la terza volta che soggiorniamo qui) sono sempre pulite e arredate in stile Austriaco, meravigliosa e ampia la suite. Colazione a buffet che offre pietanze dolci e salate di ottima qualità. Consigliatissimo!

Auch wenn das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen ist, werden wir hier sicher nicht mehr übernachten. Die zwei Frühstücksräume sind viel zu klein und eng (laut Auskunft an der Rezeption gibt es 44 Zimmer) - Tische und Sessel stehen dichtest beieinander. Als ich beim Eintreten in den Frühstücksraum zwecks Verbesserung der Luftqualität (der Raum war fast voll besetzt und überhitzt) ein Fenster kurz öffnen wollte, wurde mir das von einer Angestellten in brüskem Ton untersagt. Auch wenn das Frühstücksbuffet viele Köstlichkeiten parat gehabt hätte, ist mir der Appetit vergangen - eine solche Behandlung in diesem Ton und dieser Art mit dem Satz - sonst heizen wir ja durchs Fenster hinaus! - ist mir noch nie zuvor in einem Hotel untergekommen. Nebenbei bemerkt - es handelte sich um einen sonnigen, warmen Oktobertag und besagte Angestellte und auch einige Gäste waren kurzärmlig unterwegs. Leider .... uns sehen Sie im goldenen Lamm nie wieder ....

Ein Hotel mit leider einigen Schwächen aber auch sehr viel Charme. Eine Schwächen ist die Parkplatzsituation, die Parkplätze verteilen sich auf zwei Garagen und einen Innenhof. Die Einfahrten sind sehr und auch die Stellplätze sind nicht die größten. Die Zimmer des Hotels sind alle verschieden eingerichtet und haben teiweise Themen bezogene Namen. Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer welches den Charme der 70er Jahre versprühte. Das Bad war renoviert und modern, aber das Zimmer.... Das Hotel hat eine top Lage direkt in der Innenstadt aber leider an einer stark befahren Straße was das schlafen bei offenen Fenster schwierig macht. Das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal war höflich und hilfsbereit.

Hotel tranquillo con personale che parla diverse lingue. Camere ampie con arredamento un po' datato ma pulite. Colazione buona anche se improntata a gusto mitteleuropeo. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare i dintorni ; molto bello pranzare in riva al lago Woerthersee .

Un hotel con una location centrale, accogliente con personale gentile e disponibile, soprattutto il receptionist che parla italiano. Camere molto carine che raccontano la storia austriaca, purtroppo la colazione non soddisfacente e anche in orari scomodi ( troppo presto). Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
