Very good stay overall. Nice large room and lovely bathroom. It was a very hot weekend and although a fan was provided it did not really make any difference. We tried leaving windows open but got lots of midges/ field flies in. Hotel could maybe consider air conditioning or portable air con units.
Staff all very polite and helpful. Breakfast ok nothing special. Food in restaurant in the evening was very good.

Room was great, food was good but overall experience was ruined by the pub allowing dogs in the dining room. In fact not just allowing dogs but by having a doggie menu and allowing dog owners to feed their pets ******** whilst you are eating your dinner or breakfast. Absolutely disgusting.

WE USED THE BEARS PAW AS A STOPOVER ON THE WAY TO A USUAL HOLIDAY SPOT CLOSE BY AND HAVE TO SAY WE WERE DELIGHTED. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN AND POSSIBLY TRY ONE OF THEIR OTHER VENUES. GOOD FOOD AND DRINK, GOOD ROOMS AND NICE STAFF.

Really nicely done out - quality fittings, great bed, TV etc Breakfast v good. Best accessed from rear. An EV charge point would have been amazing.
