AKA 白宮酒店(AKA White House)

Tout étaient super, la suite était magnifique, propre et accueillante. Les lits très confortables . Le seul petit point qui nous a incommodé c’est que le réservoir d’eau chaude n’était clairement pas suffisant pour 4 personnes . Durant la 2 eme douche de suite il n’y avait plus d’eau chaude, et nous n’avons pas exagéré sur le temps de la douche. La suite est fait pour 4 personnes donc nous devrions pouvoir prendre chacun une douche sans manquer d’eau chaude. Pour le reste tout étaient vraiment super!

Loved staying at AKA Whitehouse with our family of 4. Well presented 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. Quite complex, with very helpful staff. Was able to walk to many of the sites or take a short Uber ride. Very helpful staff on the front desk as well with suggestions for eating. Would highly recommend!

I loved the amount of space the room was for my husband and three daughters. Very comfortable and very quiet. Great location! Around the corner from all of the monuments and White House!! Only downfall was no daily room service for fixing our beds and tidying up our room.

Extended stay property perfect for family vacation. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen and living room. Very clean! Staff very kind, but appeared overwhelmed. 2 blocks from White House with restaurants (both chain and otherwise) next door and nearby. Did not use their parking - used SpotHero to find parking within walking distance for $100 total for 8 days.

Rooms are well set up and great for families… but just not very clean. The walls, doors, and baseboards should be cleaned as they were dirty and stained. We had no body wash in our room and the paper products were terrible. We stayed three nights and couldn’t get them to take out the trash - told to do it ourselves.

I had read many of the reviews of the hotel before I arrived and I would concur with the general themes - the hotel is a bit tired, and aspects of the rooms could do with a bit of a spruce up but otherwise the place was great and I would definitely return. I was staggered by the size of the room we were allocated, it was fantastic, and the location of the hotel (just five minutes from the White House, and 15 minutes walk from all of the major landmarks such as the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial etc), guarantees value for your investment. While I booked a wee while before I stayed, I was pleasantly surprised (given its location) by the rates, which compared extremely favorably with similarly placed hotels in other cities I have traveled too. The staff were great, check in and out was a breeze, and living 'independently' was easy given there was a massive Wholefoods supermarket nearby as well as numerous coffee shops and eateries. That the hotel is just around the corner from Washington's excellent Metro was another bonus, making getting round the place, whether to other tourist sites such as Capital Hill, or out to the airport, a breeze. Whatever the purpose of your visit to Washington, I would seriously consider it.

Loved my stay at AKA White House. The location is perfect if you’re wanting to visit all the monuments. The White House is one block over (5mins walk) and Starbucks is just around the corner. The staff are very professional and accommodating. The rooms are very spacious so it feels like a home away from home, highly recommended.

We chose the property because it could comfortably accommodate our family of four, including 16- and 21-year-old sons. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and the White House was very close nearby. The staff was always friendly and helpful... much more accommodating than your average hotel. It was a quick maybe 20 minute ride to the Reagan Natl Airport. Easy access to the bus and metro lines. Would definitely stay here again.
