格蘭達洛弗酒店(The Glendalough Hotel)

A localização é excelente para caminhadas, boa cama e chuveiro muito bom. Café da manhã e restaurante razoáveis. Instalações antigas, demandando manutenção. Poucos funcionários, inexperientes, trabalhando dia e noite, deixando a desejar no atendimento. Reservei um quarto twin a €189, com base no anúncio de espaçoso e vista para montanha. Recebi o quarto 118, bem pequeno e com vista para a rua com carros estacionados. Pedi para trocar o quarto, não condizente com anuncio e o valor pago. O gerente respondeu rudemente que só havia quartos na categoria superior e um upgrade era impensável. Segue foto do quarto e vista. Relação custo x beneficio desfavorável.

Het hotel ligt naast de historische site (kathedraal, kerkhof). Het hotel is netjes. alle wandelingen in het natuurgebied vertrekken nabij het hotel. Uitgestippelde wandelingen van verschillende duur en niveau. De kamers onderling verschillen. We hadden twee kamers. Bij de ene kamer was niks op te merken. In de andere kamer was er geen wifi, was de doucheknop stuk en zo kon het water niet geregeld worden (kokend heet). Het was er ook onhoudbaar warm in deze kamer. De andere kamer had deze mankementen niet. Er is een parking naast het hotel. We namen de formule inclusief ontbijt en diner. Het komt erop neer dat het diner een waarde van 30Euro heeft. Er staat duidelijk op de kaart of en hoeveel het supplement bedraagt. Kies de mosselen niet want dit was een tegenvaller. Zowat de helft van de mossels waren leeg. De resterende mosselen waren droog en superklein.

Première chambre minuscule et pas très propre, nous avions demander de changer, cela a été fait très rapidement. Personnel surbooké mais très aimable. Manager au top! Si vous voulez vous évader et avoir du silence, c’est l’hôtel adéquat.

Hotel położony w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji. Każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Miła i przyjazna obsługa. Pokoje czyste Z pięknym widokiem na góry. Można kożystać ze szlaków które prowadzą do dwóch jezior.

Great location - Beauty at your door step - good value. very clean. adequate simple breakfast . Highly recommend for a stay to go hiking in Glendalough and walk around the monastic ruins. Could not fault this hotel . Hope to be back again soon.

We stayed here for 3 nights beginning of May. I am very glad I didn't read the reviews before I booked!!!! People must remember it's 3☆ not 5. We wanted a centre point to sightsee the surrounding countryside. Maten the front of house manager and Barbara where absolutely brilliant, friendly and caring. Food was lovely,especially breakfast. Beds very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

After a cold start, as in the hot water was non existent in our room until after 7pm on the day of our arrival, i could not complain. The hotel was so traditional, plenty of nooks and cranny's. The room itself was just what we needed, somewhere to sleep, it was spotless, fresh crisp white bedsheets, fresh looking carpet and a clean bathroom that actually had a bath!! The staff were helpful and the breakfast was the type of breakfast that sets you up for the day. Its a hikers hotel and hiking is just what we were doing. Up in the morning, had the breakkie and out hiking. getting back just in time for some dinner and a few drinks. The location is something you just cant buy and shows of the very best Wicklow has to offer. I cant wait for my next trip to Glendalough for a hike!

Had food here after doing a walk . Very disappointing. Ordered the chicken wings which were a very small portion for the price we paid . 17 euro for about 10 chicken wings with barely any meat on them and zero flavour . Food was overpriced and poor quality .

We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend a stay at the Glendalough Hotel. The Service was excellent, Barbara looked after us very well. All the staff were very attentive and lovely to deal with. The dinner menu was excellent as I am a vegetarian and there were 3 options for mains. We stayed for two nights and walked around glendalough and will be going back.
