When arrive to this establishment the housekeepers were sitting on the carts and wouldn’t give us not a single one! They refused after the maintenance guy asked on our behalf. He was nice and greeted us as we arrived! I’m not even gonna begin on the horrific smell of the place, but it was bad. Me and my guest stayed while attending work here in Illinois, until we found a permit staying place here in the area! The receptionist who was an older lady, whom was very mean and rude. She proceeded to check me in and threw my information back at me and a receipt. While also writing down my card information on a ticket. After getting through our first night of our two night stay we was forced to stand outside our room, while she made her two lady’s clean our room after me stating “we don’t need room service when we haven’t even been here 24hrs” she said it was motel policy but couldn’t show me where it was a policy anywhere in the building stating that. The story goes on… I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there to spend your hard earning money on such a very bad and horrible environment!

The man crouched, smoking, by the front for should've been a hint. The guy on the sofa in the lobby who was shouting in b agony was a red flag. We went to the room with our very young granddaughters, ignoring the heavy cigarette smell everywhere. Our room held 1 king bed and an ashtray..... polar opposite of the two queens non- smoking we asked for. My asthma allowed us to get a refund and it the door we went.

Photos are deceiving. We check in very late in the day to a room with wrinkled stained drapes and the trim of the bedspread was shredding. We were given an upgraded room after I complained. Not much difference except the bedspread was in a little better shape. The automatic door lock to our room didn't always securely lock even after we tried pulling it shut from the outside. Since it was late we spent 1 night which was a big mistake. Woke up and we noticed multiple bug bites.

Love the owners! Very nice clean room. Was expecting a mini fridge and microwave but the room had neither. 1st floor ice machines where also broken so no way to cool my drinks

First I was surprised when the hotel charged the credit card used to hold the room before 11am on the day I was supposed to check in. When I actually checked in that evening I asked to use a different card to pay. They then charged my room to the new card. There was a sign posted to notify at check in if you had pets. I told them I had two dogs. They notified me that they couldn’t give me a room because all the rooms on the first floor were full and that is the only floor they allow pets. After much discussion I was sent away to find another hotel. Still waiting for two credit card charges to be reversed. Definitely would not recommend this hotel. 😡

On our second day we received no clean towels or washcloths. Trash was not emptied. Coffee products not refilled etc.
