卡洪帕斯旅館(Cajon Pass Inn)

It's hidden behind a Del Taco/gas station; only 1 way in/out. So easy to miss. The lobby and the room smelled so strongly of chemicals that we got a headache. The tv only has one volume. The AC works well albeit loud. The chairs were lumpy-I did not trust them enough to sit in them. The sheets were scratchy. See attached pic of bite from unknown bug from sleeping there. There is no water pressure in the faucet or shower; I actually felt dirtier AFTER showering. I wiped down the place when I arrived with wet wipes I brought and it was FILTHY. I stayed there 1 night for $91 and they charged me $150 EXTRA for taking out 1 small bag of tied up trash. DO NOT STAY HERE! HEALTH HAZARD!

Nice place easy online payment

Pros: - Easy access to/from highway - Very nice staff - The room was clean and comfortable. - Like the shutters on the windows (inside) instead of curtains. CONS: - Hot water took forever to get from front of hotel to my room in the back. Had to run the water in sink and tub for 2m before water warmed up. Little to no nearby dinning (＜ 5m). - Could not even walk or to Subway across the street for a sandwich because of construction and heavy traffic. That should resolve at some point. Other: Some might find trains and auto traffic bothersome, but I like hearing train horns and highway noise is more like white-noise.

The room was nice but the refrigerator was noisy. We had to check out early...around 6:30. Nobody was in the office and the door was locked. There was a metal plate covering an opening in the window to put documents or keys for after hours. I tossed my keys onto a counter for when they get to the office.

Evon and travis were awesome and so nice at the front desk and let us know ahead of time they were wrapping up with maintenance work on our room with a leaky fire sprinkler . Although the sheets and bedding could use some bleach and TLC, the area was safe and quiet. Making it perfect to bring your own sheets and get some rest on a long travel journey

This motel was in the right place to give me a break from driving. Very convenient to I-15 and Cal-138. Glad I brought my dinner and breakfast as there are not many options in the neighborhood. The one chair in my room was pretty rickety but it supported me! Very good microwave and the small refrigerator had a very large freezer.There was an alarm clock on the bedside table. Thanks for the AC. Much Appreciated!

This is a former Best Western so it still has signs of BW updating such as bedding and furniture. But I can see why it’s not a BW anymore. It is wedged between busy I-15 and the BNSF and UP transcon rail lines. So it has steady noise but the AC drowns this out with white noise. No Breakfast at this property.

The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. Gas stop at the junction of two highways. Closest "town" is a 15 minutes drive. The gas stop only has terrible fast food and the hotel does not have breakfast or any food. The swimming pool was very cold and the hot tub was out of order. A lot of noise coming from highway traffic. It was a mistake to book this.

As soon as we opened the door to our room a strong disgusting smell hit us. As if the room had been closed up for a long period of time. We turned the air conditioner on and it made noise. We turned it off but then the room became extremely hot so we turned it back on. The bed is hard and you can feel the springs. Currently as of May 2023 theres a lot of construction going on surrounding the hotel. If you dont pay close very close attention you will miss the small tiny entrance. There was no advance notice of this on their website. Nor did the staff mention this when i spoke to them multiple times regarding other items before our arrival. I rate this 1 star out of 10.
