Two-day trip to Beihai (no island access)

⚠️Weizhou Island is too expensive! Going ashore is much more cost-effective and allows for a better experience! 🚘Itinerary: 1️⃣Dianjian Wharf → Seafood Processing → Dadunhai → Liuxia Village → Guantouling → Yuexiang Xiaochu → Qiaogang Style Street 2️⃣Beihai Silver Beach → Hezai Street Morning Market → Impression 1876 → Beihai Old Street → Beihai Snail Shop → Beihai Golden Beach 🌊 Day 1: Seafood Fun + Sunset Chasing ✅ Buying Seafood at Dianjian Wharf Dianjian Wharf is incredibly crowded in the early morning, with many people buying freshly arrived seafood. If you can get up early, 5 AM is the best time! Prices vary daily, so it's recommended to ask around at several shops before buying! 💡💡For those who don't want to get up early, you can ask the processing shop owner to buy the seafood for you; they know the market and can even negotiate a better price. 🍲Lunch: Seafood Processing General Processing Price: Boiled 10 RMB, Other Methods 15 RMB 🔴Recommendation: Yijiaren Seafood Processing Shop ✅ Shell Collecting at Dadun Sea Very few tourists! The sea on a cloudy day has a great atmosphere, and there are many mini hermit crabs hiding in the shells. ❌Visit Liuxia Village (Optional) A small fishing village built during the Xianfeng era, but now it's mostly cafes and creative shops, but there's really nothing to see! You can totally skip it! ✅ Sunset at Guantouling Go to Building 10 of Guanling Villa 1 hour before sunset 🌅Guanling Villa is a hotel + villa area, free of charge, just pay for parking~ Buildings 10 and 2 have great views! 🍲Dinner: Yuexiang Xiaochu + Qiaogang Pedestrian Street Super popular with long queues, clearly marked prices, and group-buying vouchers available, a table full of dishes only 200+ RMB; however, the queues are very long, so you can stroll around Qiaogang Pedestrian Street first and eat something else while you wait~ 🌅 Day 2: Sunrise + Beachcombing ✅ Sunrise at Beihai Silver Beach (remember to check the weather) We encountered a cloudy day and only saw a sliver of sun. Silver Beach on a sunny day is absolutely stunning! The sand at Beihai Silver Beach is incredibly fine! It feels even finer than Sanya's. ✅ Hezai Street Morning Market A relatively small morning market; some stalls close after 10 am. Recommended dishes include fried rice noodles, Vietnamese rice rolls, tapioca soup, and fried shrimp cakes. ✅ Impression 1876 + Beihai Old Street Eight countries established consulates here after the Treaty of Yantai in 1876. It's very close to Beihai Old Street, within walking distance. The old street has a history of nearly 200 years, with a small path leading to the sea in the middle. 🍲Lunch: Beihai Tianluo Shop A small shop that has been open for over ten years, the snail rice noodle soup base is incredibly rich! ✅ Jintan Beach Beachcombing 🔺Comparing the mangrove forest and the 66 Beachcombing Base, I found that both places require walking quite a distance to start beachcombing! 🔺The beachcombing area at Jintan Beach is very close to the shore, and many locals come to dig for snails. Just ask a guy for snail-digging tips! No need to specifically hire a guide~ ‼ Check the tide table in advance, bring a small bucket and rake, and I recommend wearing rain boots!
