Beautiful Buddhist temple

#tokyotrip My local friend bought me to visit the historical Jindaiji Temple.I was told that the temple was erected in 733 and the main entrance was built in 1695 , it has stood there for 300 years . It is the oldest surviving structure in the temple, as all other buildings burned down in 1865. The famous Statue of Hakuhoh Buddha (592-710 Asuka period) is a National Treasure now. A beautiful place that is full of history ! Will go there again , love the peacefulness there ! If you are in tokyo is completely worthy to take the time to come and visit.
