| The First Stele Forest of the Three Gorges. ◾️ The stele forest is located within the Baidi City Scenic Area, with the Bamboo Branch Poetry Stele Gallery inlaid with over 100 stone steles of Bamboo Branch Poetry calligraphy and paintings. The calligraphy and paintings include works from various schools and styles by artists of all ages. The Bamboo Branch Poetry inscribed on the steles are all carefully selected from the Kuizhou Bamboo Branch Poetry, hence the gallery is also known as the First Stele Forest of the Three Gorges. ◾️ There are numerous poems and inscriptions from various dynasties. The east and west stele forests display more than 70 well-preserved stone steles, among which the stele inscriptions from the Sui Dynasty are already 1,300 to 1,400 years old.
