Sunrise on the golden mountain, snowy peaks and colorful forests, I'm shooting a blockbuster in the oil painting world of Western Sichuan!

First, here’s an itinerary for those who aren’t early risers 🗺️ Thursday after work: Chengdu — Tagong Town (stay three nights) Friday: Tagong — Stignco — Yuzixi (Gedilamu) — Tagong Saturday: Tagong — Gunong Village — Balang Shendu — Muya Monastery — Tagong Sunday: Tagong — Zheduo Mountain — Chengdu ⚠️⚠️⚠️Important Notes⚠️⚠️⚠️ 1️⃣ Driving at night is very dangerous. If you’re not an experienced driver, strongly recommend departing during the day❗❗❗ When crossing Zheduo Mountain, the fog is very thick, visibility is only one meter😭 We used front and rear fog lights, low beams, and emergency lights, following the road lines 🛣️ Do not use high beams, or you’ll see a white haze right in front of you🌫️ Most of the way up is uphill ↗️, and there are many large trucks 🚛 Please drive very carefully 🆘 2️⃣ If it’s your first time, be sure to bring oxygen At critical moments, this is a lifesaver 🆘 You can buy certified medical oxygen tanks at pharmacies 💊 or online If possible, bring your own oxygen bag to refill at hospitals 🏥 3️⃣ On the first day, try to stay around 3,000 meters altitude to acclimate to the plateau environment For example, Tagong Town, Gunong Village, Tagong Grassland, Muya Monastery Going straight to 4,000 meters can easily cause altitude sickness 🆘 like me 🫠 Stignco, Gedilamu, and Yuzixi are all above 4,000 meters It’s better to visit them the next day 4️⃣ Altitude sickness usually comes with headache, fever, vomiting, and difficulty breathing If it’s just a mild headache 😣, endure a bit and use the oxygen tank Locals recommend taking headache powder, which does help relieve pain But it only blocks pain sensation, it’s a temporary fix If symptoms are severe, you should go to the hospital 🏥 5️⃣ You can go directly from the back gate of Gedilamu to Yuzixi But you must first buy a Gedilamu ticket for 30 RMB 💰 After visiting Gedilamu, you can go to Yuzixi, which also costs 30 RMB 💰 However, the road to Gedilamu is better than the road to Yuzixi The road to Yuzixi is really nerve-wracking 🧠 Also, there is a section in Yuzixi with very strong sunlight ☀️ Very❗dangerous❗ Even wearing sunglasses, I couldn’t see the road clearly The light shone directly into my eyes, everything went pitch black and I almost crashed into the mountain ⛰️ 6️⃣ When descending after dark, remember❗ remember❗ to follow the main group❗ Halfway down, our navigation suddenly said we were on the wrong road So we turned around and took another route, but then lost signal in the mountains The navigation kept telling us to turn around like crazy, and we circled for an hour It was a couple who came to shoot stars that saved us and led us out 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Bless good people with a lifetime of peace 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Summary: This is our 2️⃣nd time to Tagong Town Although we experienced night driving + almost crashing into a mountain + getting lost driving at night in the mountains + altitude sickness + someone hospitalized from altitude sickness It doesn’t diminish the scenery of Western Sichuan 🖼️ which is truly breathtaking❗ ㊗️ May everyone capture their life photos in Western Sichuan 📸
