A very satisfying trip! The most memorable part was the Tengchong Volcanic Geopark. We took a hot air balloon ride (at our own expense), which was a wonderful surprise and highly recommended!! Although the leaves in Ginkgo Village weren't completely yellow yet, sitting under the ginkgo trees and having coffee was still very pleasant. The Hot Sea Boiling Pot really broadened my horizons. The scenic corridor of the Mangshi Golden Pagoda opened this October, and we were lucky enough to catch it, offering panoramic views of the city; the Silver Pagoda was incredibly photogenic! Ruili's "One Village, Two Countries" was quite interesting. We explored Lijiang Old Town, enjoying the local cuisine and experiencing its charm. We were lucky enough to catch the last of the water hyacinths on our Lugu Lake cruise and even fed the seagulls that came to overwinter! In short, it's definitely worth a visit! Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the driver and guide service was also superb! Xiao Longlong served us in Tengchong, Mangshi, and Ruili. He not only arranged the itinerary reasonably according to the actual situation, but also tried his best to meet our needs. After the trip, when we wanted to go to the night market, he even took us there, telling us a lot about the local customs and culture along the way. Mr. Yuan served us in Lijiang and Lugu Lake, and he also told us many stories along the way. When we arrived at Lugu Lake, we wanted to go to another village for dinner but couldn't get a taxi. We asked Mr. Yuan for help, and he agreed without hesitation. The thoughtfulness of these two drivers warmed our hearts.
