The town has a long history, is a national 5A-level tourist attraction, and is divided into areas such as East Gate and West Gate. It preserves a large number of Qing Dynasty buildings and is one of the first national historical and cultural cities. It is recommended to stay overnight in Wuzhen to fully experience life in the ancient town. The night view of Wuzhen is especially beautiful, with the night tour of the West Gate area highly recommended. According to our guide, Master Chen, the morning mist in Wuzhen is heavy, and the West Gate water market’s morning tea customers start bustling, recreating the prosperous scenes of old Jiangnan markets. A cup of morning tea and a plate of breakfast showcase the everyday lively atmosphere of the town. It was a bit of a regret that we didn’t arrange to stay overnight in Wuzhen this time; we will definitely come back next time if we have the chance.
