🎈Location: Sanqingshan Mountain and Huangling Mountain in Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province 🎈Time: Depart from Shanghai South Railway Station to Shangrao Station on Friday evening, return from Wuyuan Station to Shanghai South Railway Station on Sunday afternoon, totaling two days and two nights. 🎈Purpose of this trip: To witness the sunrise, sunset, and stargazing at Sanqingshan Mountain, without queuing for the cable car. With luck, you might see a sea of ​​clouds, but on a clear day, you may not see a very thick sea of ​​clouds. 🎈Detailed Itinerary: 🍀Friday evening, departing from the high-speed train at 18:40, arriving at Shangrao Station around 9:40 PM, checking into a hotel near the train station, having a simple meal, and going to bed early to ensure you're energetic for the hike the next day. 🍀Saturday morning, wake up at 6:40 AM, finish breakfast before 7:30 AM, and take a bus at 8:00 AM to Sanqingshan Waishuangxi Station (this route is Waishuangxi up - Jinsha down). 🍀The bus arrives at Sanqingshan around 9:00 AM. 🍀Follow the signs to the cable car; you can ride without queuing. Arrive at 9:35 AM and begin the hike. 🍀The chosen route is West Coast (passing by Rishang Mountain Villa) → Sunshine Coast → Nanqingyuan (following the clockwise route of "Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain → Goddess → Jade Platform → Horse Face Stone → Jade Maiden's Embrace"), because... Staying at the Goddess Hotel campsite, I stored my luggage when I passed by. 🍀 Around 3:30, I arrived at Jade Maiden's Embrace and chose a suitable spot to wait for the sunrise. During the wait, I even encountered squirrels. (After sunset, it gets dark very quickly in the mountains, and there are no lights in the scenic area, so I recommend finding a nearby spot to watch the sunset. If you're staying at Rishang Mountain Villa, I suggest watching the sunset from the west coast; if you're staying at the Goddess Hotel, I suggest watching the sunset from Jade Maiden's Embrace, Horse Face Stone, or Jade Terrace. You can return to the campsite half an hour after sunset.) 🍀 The Goddess Hotel offers dinner, but the prices are on the expensive side. Even though I'm used to the high prices in Shanghai, I still think it's expensive. 🍀 In the evening, I watched the stars from the platforms near Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain, Penguin Sending Peaches, and the Goddess Hotel. The platforms are very close to the campsite, and there are no steps on the way, so it's not strenuous. This season, you can see Orion, and from late night to early morning, you can see the Big Dipper and Polaris. 🍀We depart at 5:30 AM on Sunday to Yutai to watch the sunrise. After sunrise, we return to the campsite via the same route for breakfast. At 8:40 AM, we take the Jinsha Cableway down the mountain. There's no queue at Jinsha in the morning. After descending, we share a car to Huangling Scenic Area. 🎈Important Notes: 1️⃣Buy 2 bottles of water and 2 eggs in advance. The supply stations on the mountain mainly offer grilled sausages, chicken legs, instant noodles, and tea eggs. Some shops have flatbread, but not much. A bottle of mineral water costs 5-10 yuan, a tea egg costs 5 yuan, a chicken leg costs 30 yuan, and instant noodles cost 30 yuan. 2️⃣If you plan to take Polaroid photos, bring two extra AA batteries. 3️⃣For those watching the sunrise and sunset, prepare a scarf, hat, and hand warmers (one each for your buttocks, back, and stomach; at least three). 4️⃣ If you bring your own gear, you can choose from the Rishang Mountain Villa platform, Yutai (no toilets available, you need to go down to the supply station for toilets), the area next to the Yutai supply station (where you can rent tents), and the Rhododendron Valley platform. If you don't bring your own gear, Rishang Mountain Villa has its own stargazing cabins and Goddess Hotel has its own tents.
