The most famous square in the Capitol building, designed by Michelangelo Bronalotti in the 16th century, is still striking with a naked horseback-riding man statue. The large staircase shows a pair of Egyptian black granite Leo, with Mario on the railings and a statue of his son Constantine next to it.

This is considered one of Michelangelo's last works. It forms a beautiful building complex with the square.
