去自由女神像的渡輪會先停在埃利斯島，島上是由原來的移民入境管理局改建的移民博物館，裏面介紹了美國的移民歷史展廳有不少早期的移民文件和影像資料，感覺很有值得慢慢遊覽，想象曾經遠渡重洋的人們是懷着怎樣的心情來到想象中的自由大陸

不計劃去也得轉轉的地方，炮台公園買傳票去自由女神像，然後坐船回程的時候，中途會先停在埃利斯一下，這時候下船就面對博物館了，這裏主要是圖片展，然後有免費的牛奶喝！

埃利斯島是在曼哈頓這邊附近的一個特別小的島的，不確定是不是人工島的，而在這裏就是可以欣賞到世界上最著名的自由女神像了，建議坐船觀光
