建築採用了陶土、混凝土和摩洛哥石料製成的陶土色水磨石等一系列材料。 外立面上半部分由磚塊組成，這種質樸的大地色彩，於周圍的環境以及撒哈拉沙漠的顏色融為一體，體現了非洲的風采。但這些紅磚不僅僅是簡單的堆砌在一起，而是有6種不同的組合方式，營造出類似編織的圖案，意指用磚表現出時裝布料的紋理，使整個博物館變成一件永久的高級定製。

摩洛哥的馬拉喀什是一座歷史悠久的城市，和卡薩布蘭卡的歐洲味道比較濃厚不同，馬拉喀什的文化和歷史感比較強，有幾處很美的花園，花園都非常美。
