穿行在里斯本的大街小巷，時不時會遇上形形色色的廣場，人氣指數最高的-當屬羅西歐廣場。自由大道最南端的羅西歐廣場，是里斯本市區最繁華喧鬧的地段；足球場大小的廣場，高27米的佩德羅四世雕像位居正中、直聳雲天，南北兩端的噴泉水花四濺；北面-瑪格麗二世國家劇院端莊典雅，東面-里斯本中央火車站富麗堂皇；悠閑漫步的鴿子成群結隊，逛吃逛吃的遊客絡繹不絕…羅西歐廣場的地面極具看點。1848年廣場重新鋪設地面，採用了黑白相間大理石石塊構成的“馬賽克碎石路”；婉延起伏的畫面，如同大海波瀾起伏、奔騰向前…無比震撼。

羅西歐廣場建於十三世紀，中央矗立着國王佩德羅四世的雕像，在雕像的底部有4個女性小雕像，分別象徵著正義、智慧、力量和節制，這是國王對自己的評價。廣場地面是黑白二色瓷磚鑲嵌而成的優美圖案。廣場周圍有許多古老的建築物，商店，咖啡店。

羅西歐廣場位於奧古斯塔大街的盡頭，這裏曾是舉行人民起義和慶祝活動、鬥牛和處決的地點，如今這個廣場已經成為里斯本人民和遊客喜愛的聚會地點。

熱鬧的廣場,有一個大的聖誕市場,還有很多裝飾品。
