The Temple of the Emerald Buddha grounds is the entry point for a tour (also) of the Grand Palace. This gorgeous temple is a must-see if you’re in Bangkok. Located inside of the Grand Palace, it’s one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Thailand and is worth visiting for the beautiful Buddha statue alone, although the building itself is also breathtaking. Come, take off your shoes, sit, and take in the beauty. Pictures were not allowed inside the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. There is no place that sells food or drinks inside the temple area.
