Cao's academy is the only garden-style Academy in China. It is said that every person in the Academy will plant a sweet-scented osmanthus tree in the osmanthus porch. Every time osmanthus blossoms in the season, the fragrance is overflowing. Outside the academy is the Peach Blossom Dam. On the other side of the river is a nunnery. It is said that Cao Zhenyong's sister built and lived there all her life in order to fulfill her promise.

Located on the Peach Blossom Dam of Xiongcun Township, Xiongcun Township, Shexian City, Huangshan City, it is a lecture place for Cao clan in Xiongcun, Qing Dynasty, and has the responsibility of enlightenment. Celebrities of the Qing Dynasty, Shen Deqian, Yuan Mei, Jinbang and Deng Shiru, have come here to give lectures. The Qing Dynasty Qianlong was completed from 20 to 24 years (1755 to 1759). Most of the existing buildings are original, which is a well-preserved Huizhou Academy. The academy covers an area of about 2,000 square meters with a building area of 1218 square meters. As a representative of the academy, Zhushan Academy has trained many talents, which is also known as the first ancient academy in the south of the Yangtze River.

The inscriptions on the stone drums on both sides of Zhushan Academy and the large "Zhushan Academy" above the gate are very striking. A wooden screen is erected at the entrance. Both corridors are square stone pillars, and the main hall is huge and spacious.
