IilpMy review would be based on my 4-day stay and will only be fair and square. The hotel is located in a bsuy area of main bazaar, so expect noisy neighborhood with honking cars and shouting people. The place is not that secure, if that is your concern. The hotel is in a neighborhood of slums (yes, i explored the inner streets and alleys). The hotel though is decent, good value for your money. Transportation is a bit difficult (especially if you will book indrive or uber) since it is a busy and narrow street, cars and motorbikes don't go much often there (they get stuck in traffic).
The hotel room is okay. I booked a double room (i am a solo traveler but i want a big bed). They put two single beds together, so i can't really sleep in the middle because i sink in. The room is small. When I arrived, i was greeted by three medium sized cockroaches -two in the bedside table and one in bed. I managed to kill them though :-). Shower water is not always available. You can order food 24/7, and it was tasty (the falafel however is salty).. i paid roughly 100 usd for my stay.
Internet connection is fast and reliable but you need to log-in everytime you get disconnected. Secutiry of the hotel itself is lax. In fact, they have a notice that THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE THINGS ARE STOLEN IN YOUR ROOM :-)...
Visitors are not allowed. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off but the same is too costly (10usd) but in-app booking is only half the price (and even less). Hotel staff are willing to help you anytime foof the day - for a price. They always ask for tip (as in always)....
Their tours are relatively competitive and at par with other providers. Breakfast is bad (i forced myself to finish the pancake, bread and omelette). The utensils, plates and glasses were dirty (watermarked in the glasses). They provide electric kettle in the room but no coffee or tea provided, nor mugs. Pillows and bed were soft, aircon is good but television not much choices. The only english content is the news.
Will i recommend this hotel to friends? Yes if on tight budget. Otherwise, find a better one.
訪訪客It's my first time ever leaving a review on something, and I am glad to do it for the Hotel Delhi Aerocity because, even though I had just a night there at the beginning of my trip, the staff went above and beyond to make everything work for me! As a female solo traveler I felt safe from the start, increasingly comfortable, and very well taken of by each one of the very kind and professional staff at the hotel - and no paternalism involved! I could choose between two rooms, both perfectly tidy and clean: wifi worked all *****, hot water came immedialy. Dinner and breakfast had plenty of veggie options, and were mind-blowing delicious! Plus, when the driver booked by my following destination didn't show up, they helped me call them and re-arrange another transfer very quickly and with no drama.
If you come from the airport, do provide your driver with the video of the directions they'll send you upon booking: the place is on the left about 300mt after the Radisson Blu. There are a couple of hotels with similar names (like adding ”Inn” at the end) on the same road before getting there: keep going! Also - but this is a general tip for travelers - bring earplugs because planes keep departing and landing until late, and the road nearby is quite busy. Have a good stay!
