Rembrandt is a famous Dutch celebrity and also has its name on Rembrandt Square. The former residence is not very big. There are many detailed introductions to Rembrandt's life and displays of his life.
The Museum is a fine tribute to the great artist reflecting the realistic living condition of the Era. Among all the life revealing displays, a nice surprise was given in the quietness and somewhat serious atmosphere of the drawing room , where we did picked up the pencil and sketch and feel the presence of the great genius at work. We found that it was the most memorable part on top of the sight seeing part. Don't miss the turn after you pass the famous metal bridge, we had overshot and need to retract back to find the humble house musuen.
Excellent setup within the building, and very informative audio tour that is flexible based on your choice of interest
I loved this place, I loved the history behind it and I watched someone make paint the way they did 500 years ago!
A wonderful museum that is fairly small, but huge in quality. Best to get here earlier in the day as the cross do get a bit pesky.
