Why do people prefer to go to Thailand instead of Vietnam?
As both Southeast Asian tourist destinations, why do people prefer to go to Thailand and rarely visit Vietnam? From personal experience, the tourism experiences in these two countries are really different.

Natural scenery: Thailand has extremely rich natural scenery, many of which can be remembered by everyone, such as Phuket Island, Pattaya, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Zheng Wang Temple, etc. In addition to these, small and niche tourist attractions such as Chiang Khan and Elephant Island are also very worth visiting. The tourism methods are diversified and can meet the needs of different people. Compared to that, there are relatively few well-known tourist attractions in Vietnam.
Tourism environment: Vietnam started and developed its tourism industry later than Thailand, and the overall industry is not as well-developed as Thailand's, so both the infrastructure and tourism environment, including shopping places, are not as abundant as Thailand's.
I have been to Thailand 6 times and Vietnam twice. Overall, Thailand's city streets are cleaner and the cultural environment is better. Thai people are also more friendly and hospitable. My most memorable experience was riding a motorcycle in Thailand alongside cars, even during rush hour, everything was orderly and there was no honking, which I found quite impressive.
Consumer level: The cost of living in Thailand is lower than in Vietnam, and it is also safer. Basically, a person can spend only a few thousand yuan to travel to Thailand for a week. However, there are too many things to buy, such as local jewelry and bags, which cost only tens of yuan. I haven't seen any sky-high prices for souvenirs. Especially, many floating markets are a shopping paradise for women. Speaking of shopping paradise for women, Vietnam is even rarer.
Language environment: There are many people who speak Chinese in Thailand, and learning Chinese is very common in Thailand. Relatively speaking, Chinese people will have fewer language communication barriers when they go there. But if you travel freely in Vietnam, language communication will be very difficult.
Movie promotion: People love Thailand not only because of their personal experiences, but also because of the recent movie promotions that reflect the country's good environment. There are more movies that showcase this in Thailand, especially some public service advertisements that are very touching. However, Vietnam has done very little in this regard.
The above are the reasons why people like to go to Thailand but not Vietnam. What do you think?
One of the best experiences in Bangkok. really recommended to rent local dress so you can take unbelievable and fun pictures. of course it will be very crowded, but it is really amazing place to visit, especially for European, Americans or western people, because the temple and sculptures are unique.
A very beautiful and impressive sight. Definitely worth a visit in my opinion. It’s nice to stroll around and take in all the details and it is also a good spot for photography.
Beautiful place, would absolutely recommend it to everyone. It's also a perfect place for a little photoshoot in Thai traditional dressing for a very reasonable price.
The temple of Zhengwang, also known as the "Dawn Temple", is located on the banks of the Zhaopiye River. It is very representative of the landmarks and is very easy to recognize. The temple of Zhengwang is the largest Mahayana Sherry-style tower in Thailand, with a white and solemn appearance. It is the greatest creation and cultural heritage left by Thailand during the Great City period, making the Dawn Temple the oldest building on the banks of the Zhaopiye River today, and the most visited temple in Thailand. The main tower in the center of the Zhengwang Temple is 82 meters high. It is a famous building in Thailand. The pattern on the back of the 10 baht coin is the Zhengwang Temple. The whole tower is built on a square base and a tower stack. There are four accompanying towers around. The surface is decorated with many colored ceramics, magnificent and gorgeous.

[Thai Hongwei ] After visiting the Reclining Buddha Temple in the morning, in the afternoon, we took a boat to the #Zhengwang Temple/#Dawn Temple on the other side. We sang a song "Dawn is coming to..." 👉 Supplementary information: Dawn Temple is the largest Mahayana Sherry-style tower in Thailand, with a white and solemn appearance. It has the reputation of "#Thailand Eiffel Tower". The temple of Zhengwang was built in the Great City Dynasty of Thailand and completed in 1809. The main tower in the center is 82 meters high. The base and the tower are square. There are many layers and the area is decreasing layer by layer. There is a tower around, different colors, magnificent and gorgeous. Bangkok's must-see historical monuments, founded in Thailand's Great City Dynasty, were rebuilt after Zheng Zhaoqian's creation of the Tunburi Dynasty here. It is the greatest creation and most beautiful cultural heritage left by the Monku King's era in the Dacheng period, which made the Dawn Temple the oldest building and the most visited temple on the banks of the Zhaopiye River today. After the occupation of the place by Myanmar, it was recaptured and rebuilt from 16 meters to 82 meters. The main tower of the temple is 82 meters high. The main tower is a famous building in Thailand and is engraved on the back of the coin (coins issued during the reign of the emperor of the temple). The base and the tower are square, with many layers and the area is decreasing. Each side of the tower, the color is different, magnificent and gorgeous, several times smaller than the main tower. The tower is covered with many colored broken ceramics. The foundation of the pagoda is painted with huge pictures. The view is magnificent and towering with the "high tower" homage from the peak-style Planetarium in the Khmer Empire temple. It symbolizes the sacred mountain in the Buddhist kingdom, the Sumi Mountain. Come here to calm down in the atmosphere, thinking about the magnificent scenes of history, and the feeling of reverence is particularly born.
