If in Chiba you must visit it
Very nice place to visit. There is a museum inside the castle and its surroundings are also a good place to spend some time.

Looks a bit lost among modern Chiba!
Of course, history tells us there was no great structure here as the present one. However, it does make a good home for some sort of museum. Unfortunately, it was closed for renovations when I visited...

Castle in Chiba
Elevator is available if you can’t climb stairs. Very nice view from top floor. Nice displays of artifacts.
