The park is open to the public with several signs explaining the significance of the Lincoln Douglas Debate.

History

This is a small park with a lot of signs and a stature. But it’s a big part of American history. I like that we preserve places like this. It’s interesting to stand where the debate took place.

Lincoln (not Kilroy) was here

It is an interesting park. There is a nice statue and plenty of signage so you can learn about the history and talking points of the debates. Parking is nearby and the visit is free.
