"Südfriedhof", with its 65 ha and 40.000 tombs, is the largest tomb in Nuremberg. Created in 1913, it gives more impression of being a park thanks to its many majesty trees.
The Southern Cemetery was built in the form of the Munich Wald Cemetery and opened in 1913. The place also includes memory and monuments for the victims of both world wars.
1913 was set up as the second major municipal cemetery. With commemoration of the pleasures of the World Wars. The largest cemetery of Nuremberg with a parking-like character.
