Golden royalty and great architecture
One of the most iconic and distinctive buildings in Cambodia, the Royal Place. Built in the 1860’s, the palace has been the home to all royalty since. The King’s living area takes up over half of the palace grounds, but visitors are free to roam around the Silver Pagoda compound, the main area containing the Chan Chaya Pavilion, and Throne Hall, which is pictured above. Throne Hall is still in use today as a meeting place for the King to receive dignitaries, and is also used for ceremonies and coronations. It is indeed a very beautiful and serene place to visit. #trip #travel #cambodia #history #culture
you know what? I can play with birds. I feel so special when I get there. I can feel fresh with air and the river side. I also feel so great with the sky 🥰
Nice place and very clean, must visit if your in phnom Penh, Ticket is $10 which is bit expensive
Phnom Penh is located at the intersection of the four rivers, and Phnom Penh Palace is adjacent to the Donglisa River Bank Park, which can overlook the entire four-arm bay (the locals at the four-arm bay where the four rivers confluence, like four strong and powerful arms connected together), and has been renovated and maintained for most of the past year. Some areas are open for visitors to visit. The palace is directly in front of the grass square. Every holiday attracts many local residents to relax and have dinner with food! It is very lively!
What a magnificent piece of architectureLove the very long fresqueYou also get to see some ancient collections of pottery, artifacts, clothing etc… the gardens are beautiful too. Worth the $10 entry feeThe Silver Pagoda is amazing
I had the opportunity to visit the Royal Palace today, and I was truly awestruck by its grandeur and historical significance. The fact that the entrance ticket for foreigners is only $10 is incredibly affordable given the richness of the experience it offers. The Palace's visiting hours from 8 to 11 and 14:00 to 17:00 are well-suited for exploring, but I imagine it would be even more enchanting in the evening, with the palace illuminated. I highly recommend a visit to the Royal Palace, and if you have the chance, consider coming in the evening for a truly magical experience.
must visit Royal palace , you can see our original culture, with kind khmer people
The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia.
At tourist attractions for half an hour to an hour, there are many pigeons at the entrance of the palace. I heard from friends that if the king lives in it, the photos will be hung outside.
