May Day Travelogue to Huangdao
This year's May Day holiday lasted for five days. I originally had no plans to go out, as experience has taught me that during the blooming spring season, the number of travelers peaks, making it an unfavorable time to join the crowd. After staying in Shouguang until the third day, boredom became unbearable. The kids, having finished their homework, started to frequently ask for mobile phones, tablets, and TV. On a whim, we decided to go to the seaside. A classmate had recommended a route to Huangdao, so we packed our things, booked a hotel, and set off immediately.
Huangdao is a two and a half hour drive from Shouguang. Despite having been to Qingdao several times, I had never visited Huangdao. Along the coastline, one can see beautiful scenery: wooden walkways leading deep into the sea, rugged reefs, golden beaches, and verdant coastal pines... At this time of the year, the sea is a clear blue, boundless and refreshing to the soul. Just stopping the car anywhere and feeling the sea breeze is enough to appreciate the beauty of the sea. Picking up stones, throwing stones, turning over stones, looking for crabs... The children had a blast.
We stayed at a guesthouse near Golden Sand Beach that night, and early the next morning, we headed to Golden Sand Beach. True to its name, the sand was fine and soft, stepping on it felt blissful. The seaside is still a bit cold during the May Day holiday, but the kids didn't care at all. They took off their shoes and socks and rushed into the beach, enthusiastically digging sandcastles and picking up pebbles. The weather wasn't great, with the distant islands shrouded in fog, but it didn't detract from the sea's allure.
This is supposed to be one of the best beaches in Qingdao. I enjoyed it. They have tables and chairs to sit, lockers, snacks, beach umbrellas and water sports. I went diving and did the parachuting activity. I enjoyed the water too. There are toilets and little shops with souvenirs and swimming clothes.
A beautiful scene to look at. the surrounding is just awesome and perfect for a walkabout.
On the 17th day of the poor tour of China, Qingdao Golden Beach Qingdao Golden Beach is one of the finest sand beaches in China, the largest area and the most beautiful scenery. It is called the "first beach in Asia". Because the water is flat, the sand is as fine as powder and the color is as gold, it is called the Golden Beach. Today is not a weekend, there are not many people, otherwise the beach is overcrowded, oh The beauty of the sea and the sky is unexpressed in words.
The beach in Qingdao is incredibly vast, and as you stroll along its expanse, it feels like the walk could go on forever. The sensation of walking by the sea, especially in the cool and refreshing weather, is an experience not to be missed. The crisp ocean breeze, the sound of waves, and the soothing atmosphere create a perfect backdrop for a leisurely walk. What makes this beach truly special is the vibrant atmosphere it offers. Along the way, you'll encounter many people taking leisurely strolls and even buskers adding a lively touch to the surroundings, making it a delightful place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the coastline.
the beach is long and wide. the waves is spectacular, but the beach is not that clean, and full of sharp pebbles, broken shells and discarded human's objects eg glass,. so be extra careful for tourist with kids.
