Visit Santiago, the Old Town Historical Park is worth a visit. Santiago's history is full of blood and rain, the earliest Indian gathering place, then occupied by the Spaniards, and belonged to Mexico, until the United States War of Independence to recapture the territory. The unique history of Santiago has formed a multicultural blend of Indian, Mexican, Spanish and other cultures, and has also preserved the old city and architecture in a more complete manner. In 1968, the state government built the most complete neighborhood in the old city as an ancient city historical park for tourists to appreciate the historical charm of San Diego. The towering green plants, the brilliant sun, filled with the charming fragrance of strange flowers and plants; The wide square, elegant old house, shows the history of the long river once brilliant; the beautiful flag, the beautiful dance, overflowing with the integration of multicultural excitement; the red "Jinshan" shop (picture 4), the decoration of blue and white porcelain, telling the hard work of the Chinese ancestors.
Our family prefers to eat Mexican food, so we like to go to the old city to eat on weekends or rest days. The whole old city park has a strong Mexican style, the hospitality of Mexicans, and the Mexican specialty shops will leave a good impression on you.
Historic state park. Not a whole lot to see but enough to spend at least half the day. A lot of restaurants and souvenir shopping all around. Free parking lots but usually difficult to get a spot but a lot of street parking too.
Very simple, but without losing a unique regional cultural color
Santiago is located in the city center, which is equivalent to the old city of many cities in China. No tickets, basically open. Strictly speaking, this is not a park, but the park has a large green space, with blue sky, white clouds and Spanish-style buildings to form a good landscape. There are many restaurants, souvenir shops and staff in the park wearing European nineteenth century clothes, some feeling of crossing. The whole park takes only one hour to walk around slowly. There is a free 2-3 hour parking at the gate. It's worth seeing.
